I remember one time my Grandmother was sleeping. So I stayed in the room with her, and watched her sleep. Later on, she went to the bathroom. I was watching TV, and some voice in my head told me to go into the bathroom with her. Then another voice told me to just listen to music on my phone, and go back to my room. So I chose to go into the bathroom with her. I went in there, and about thirty seconds later, she starts saying "Oh Lord, help me Jesus.", and her eyes roll back into her head, and her body goes limp. I called out to my aunt, and she called the Ambulance. We went to the hospital, and it turns out that she had a seizure. The doctor told me "If you wouldn't have went into the bathroom with her, she would have died." . I know that God was speaking to me in my head. This happened two years ago, and now my Grandma has passed, but I know she is no longer worn.

I believe I'm alive right now because of God. I was 6 or 7 at a friends pool party one time and I couldn't swim. I got on one of those noodle things and accidentally went to the deep end. Inevitably I fell off and almost drowned. Luckily my dad showed up probably seconds before I was dead.(my mom was sitting right next to the pool talking and didn't notice me drowning). Anyways my dad and brother showed up just in time to save my life. Luckily my brother had a broken arm and didn't want to stay at his friends house any longer. Also if my dad would've hit one more red light or if they would've played games for even a little bit longer I wouldn't be here so in my opinion that's just to many coincidences that just so happened to save my life for there not to be a God looking out for me.

Courtney Pagleno I was like you too. I had attempted suicide before but it was overdose. I went to a Christian camp and the day after it was over i was going to attempt to kill myself. But this time I was going to use a gun. I went to the camp and God changed my life and the band played this song. I accepted Christ and all of my depression is gone.

Simply because of my redeemer savior Jesus Christ the very day he passed away in our bedroom at our house. I remember being so lost in my own home and i remember falling in knees crying?asking my Lord you need to prove me my Lord that im going to make without Daniel and then I said OMG please forgive me lord for saying he needed to proof that im gonna make it without him and I said of coarse I will Daniel was just a man not my God. It is you lord I cant be without i litterly will not make it. And after I repented this beautiful peace came over me!!!and the next thing I layed down on the very hospital bed he died on?with my legs crossed and watching his TV he loved so much I was so at peace and our son the oldest saw first hand the miracle on me we had 2 sons. And he said mama you look good and I said with a calm voice yes son?im okay your dad went to be with Jesus and I told my son the Lord bless me with your father 23 good years and this is how I told my son HE BLESSED ME FOR GIVING ME YOUR DAD FOR 23 BEAUTIFUL YEARS AND BLESSED HIM FOR TAKING HIM HOME. SO HERE I AM 7 YEARS LATER STILL PRAISING MY LORD JESUS STRONGER THAN EVER AND IM READY TO BE BLESSED AGAIN WITH ANOTHER CHOSEN HE HAS FOR ME ITS AMAZING SISTER JESUS IS TRULY THE ANSWER AMEN😊

I’m going through chemotherapy for Angioscarcoma, blood vessel cancer. There currently no cure, it’s called the lonely cancer because of hardly any reach and rare cancer, the rarest of rare. I have to do these long,obnoxious spreadsheets at my internship and needed to take a break so I put on my Tenth Avenue North station for some uplifting Christian music and this song came on. God knew just what I needed.
Lost my mom to Cancer 6 years ago , this song reminds me of her ,she was so worn from fighting to stay alive even before the day begone... she cried out to God with all she had left because she knew he could give her rest and at the end she passed away, but for her Redemption won and the struggle ended as cure wasn't meant to be and she told us to let her go with the savior. I love this song! I know my mom is with the lord.

I'm totally blind and often get headaches that last for days. I also have a disease that messes with my hearing and balance. My marriage of 19 years ended in divorce, and I miss my kids so much, but she got the custody. If it weren't for my faith in God, I promise you I'd end my life right now... But I do have faith in Him. I do know that my redeemer lives. I do know that the Bible is the sufficient, inerrant word of God, so I keep on breathing. I keep on living even though it's pure hell so much of the time. I can either sing this song or cry my heart out, and I usually choose to sing the song. It's so helpful and just says it all;
Please never give up because in the end it's all going to be okay. There's always going to be some one there for you no matter what even if you don't think there is. Just never give up hope and just pray and it's always okay to cry because it just means that you have just been to strong for too long and that you have the biggest heart and that sometimes you just need to let go and just let it all out.

I first heard this song at a service for a co-worker who lost a battle with brain cancer about 7 years ago. I am honestly not a very religious person (although I do have faith), but I think this song speaks to everyone who has been worn down by life. We all face struggles that can seem insurmountable, we all have periods when we feel worthless and unloved, and we all cry out for redemption. At those times, when I hear this song I know I am not alone.
Listening to this song now the day before my birthday. It's gonna be a hard day because of my long story. I ask that someone be praying for me. Please.

I want to offer hope... When this song came out I sang it with all of my heart and soul as my prayer to God. I was in the depths of losing my career to a disability, my life was a wreck mostly of my own making. I was the definition of worn. At the time this song came I had lost all hope and was in the deepest depression imaginable. I prayed earnestly and with sobbing, "Let me see redemption win, let me know the struggle ends, let me know a heart can be reborn..." Here it is almost ten years later and He has answered that prayer in the most glorious way imaginable. If you are struggling - hold on! God is not through with you.

I was diagnosed post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety disorder, depression. I held everything in and I have a stubborn personality, thinking I can do everything by myself. The stress took a toll on my body, gave me Fibromyalgia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Scoliosis, heart arrhythmias where I have episodes that are stroke-like and everything completely debilitated me from working. God told me to stop and I did. It took me awhile to work past the worthlessness but when I heard this song, I broke down and realized: God's will not mine. I need to look at life through His eyes. That's when I realized I wasn't looking up to Him for redemption, I was wallowing in my depression. The power of free will is that we can choose how we think and act about situations. I chose to thank God for leading me to Him and guiding me every step of the way during these difficult times.

I was driving around at night, completely and utterly hopeless, flipping through the radio when this song played and I broke down and cried and it was like a hug from God and I listened to the words of this song and how closely they matched how I felt and let me tell you...redemption won, the struggle ended and God mended my heart. The song rose from the ashes of my broken heart and all that was dead inside was reborn and I am no longer worn. Thank you, Lord.

One time I was sick and was coughing a lot I started reading my Bible and when I prayed to ask God to help my sickness to go away so I could read without being bothered and he did also just last night I was sure I was going to through up I felt sick but I prayed to ask God to make me feel better and I didn't through up once after that an felt better. Hi. I am 18 years old. My name is Anna, I have never self harmed, done drugs, or been abused. I have a great life. But I don't know what I am going to do in the future, and there is going to be a of changes coming very soon. I don't drive yet, I have never had a job, I have a lot of things to catch up on,I have fallen behind in life, I am scared and lonely. I know a lot of people that ask for stuff have it a lot worse then I do but could anyone pray for me? Also my Mom recently broke her arm and the doctor said she may never get full use of her arm again. Pray for her to?

I was searching for something about being worn and ready to commit suicide and because of worn it brought up this song and I thought it was going to be something different so I clicked it once I started listening to it I started thinking about how I need to lift my eyes up and open my mouth and ask for help.

I personally don't know what you're going through on a specific level. However I will say that I believe God will always send us challenges. Big and small. But no matter how big or how small they are, he will never give us more than what we can handle with God's help. I believe challenges are put in our life so that we may grow, not so we can fall. Patience, openness, prayer, and effort on all sides are great assets. Pray and talk to and with god. If something bothers you talk to god about it. He says (in a summed up way) -there is no need for you to worry or fear over the many things and circumstances as long as I am with you. Whether you believe it or not, I am always by your side watching and listening and guiding you. There will be mountain peaks and there will be valleys. I am always here. right here. through it all. come to me for peace and peace shall be bestowed upon you. along with guidance and wisdom-

Since I don't know the exact specifics this is as far - in words - i can help you currently. my family and i will be praying for you and your family. Lastly, keep your soul and heart open to God. If these are closed and locked you may not hear him as easily. Also, I know how you feel when you say you feel selfish to ask others to pray for you. But i promise you asking for support through prayer (especially when you obviously need it) is never ever selfish. We all need each others support and love. I was having issues with my son, Adam at the time. 2 months ago he took his life. There is an emptiness in my heart for Adam now. A lot can happen in 3 years.

I am praying for you! One thing I have learned through hard times is that God will allow these trials to hit us so that we will grow closer to Him. God will answer your prayer, it will either be yes, no, or not yet. I know it is hard but try to put your full hope in Him. Have complete faith that He can heal your family. looking through these comments, it's easy to see how we have a world full of pain and hurt to contend with. i was a screw up as a kid, took it to the next level in my teens, and I wanted to die. I'd messed up so much, so badly. I was reckless, and taking stupid chances. I didn't want to straight up kill myself, but, I sure as anything didn't want to live. A good friend, I'll call him VE, pulled me back from the brink. He was all over my [rear end] about my driving, free climbing, and other "high risk behaviors." (That's a euphemism, by the way.) VE challenged me on every one of them, showing the love of Christ in a way I'd never seen put into practice. He encouraged me to get into counseling. He not only saved my life, but, taught me how to help others. As I got my life sorted out, I lost track of VE, but never forgot what he taught me. More than once, I've talked a friend down from the ledge, and been the shoulder to cry on. I found out years later that despite all he did for me, VE lost his own battle with depression and despair. I've lost a lot of friends through the years from infants to the elderly. I never cried so much as when I learned about VE taking his own life. (I'm crying now, thinking about it.) That was 25 years ago. I'll see that dear brother again, I know. And frankly, I've got a lot more years behind me than in front of me, now. But, I miss him still. This song reminds me of myself, and VE, and all the others I've met who are worn down to almost nothing. But, in that 'nothingness,' there's a quiet desperation that leads straight to the cross. I remember one night, when I was wrestling with how little I wanted to live, and how much I wanted the pain to stop, and I was looking over the Potomac river. I was sinking lower and lower, and it was like a voice right beside me said "this isn't the end of the road. there's hills to climb, and even deeper valleys to cross. but, this is the last one you'll travel alone." In the years since, Jesus has been with me. There's been some mountain top experiences. There's been more valleys than I can count. Jesus has been with me every step. To paraphrase a popular story, when I look back and see the groove in the sand...that's when He dragged my sorry-### through the worst of it! I can talk about the peace that passes understanding; I've experienced joy in the worst of times; I've learned to be content in (almost) any situation. It's all because of Jesus. I'm still worn. My marriage is strained, my oldest wants nothing to with me, older daughter is suffering from anxiety, younger son may not live to adulthood, youngest child carries a lot of weight with adult like poise. She's worn, too, already. But, she's starting off with Jesus. My family is a mess, but we are among the fortunate ones. There's a lot of pain in this world, my friends. Be gracious to each other.

Being a nurse for 17 years, especially through the pandemic, being a caregiver for my mom who had dementia, being betrayed by family and friends for "being emotionally weak," I feel like this. Now, 3 months after losing my mom AND my job all in one week, I'm struggling to see myself reborn, to have hope, to keep going. I'm trying to rest and recover and believe the promises. Mom's struggle ended, but mine continues in a dark, cold and unstable world. I need to see good win.
I am pretty sure this is my favorite song by them. Such an uplifting song in times of stress, depression, brokeness, and frailty.

Seek the face of God and allow him to be your all in all. Then ask Him to save your wife as well so that he can lead her heart, and she may fall back in love. Even still, stay with God, and trust that he can see you through, even if the road goes where you don't want to.
Love her as Christ has loved the church. Christ loved us in our sin, in our brokenness and rejection towards Him. He pursues us. Pray for her diligently, serve her wholeheartedly. I wouldn't necessarily pray for her to 'fall back' in love with you, but pray that God might grant you the strength to love her without reserve and as you do that, to recognize Christ's love for you in your life-giving you strength to do so for her regardless of reciprocation. I didn't truly appreciate this song the first time I heard it. I thought, "Eh, another so-so song to be overplayed on the christian radio stations." Now, I am worn and this song means so much more to me. I find myself praying the lyrics each day. I am so thankful for this song and its reminder that Redemption has won and all that's dead inside can AND WILL be reborn. Praise God! May He soon return!

hey. so I just wanted to share that these guys have been the tool God has used to give me hope many a time. I used to cut myself, and these last couple of days have been real rough and full of that temptation again. and this song, the emotion it lets me feel is sooo healing. I thank God for these guys because through the dark nights I was able to find hope, and they acknowledge the darkness but always remind me of the light that is still coming.

My sister went into the hospital for a simple hernia repair in August should have been released the next day but the surgeon nicked her gall bladder and she was rushed back to surgery to remove it. She was kept only 4 days was released violently ill. She was only 53 and found dead at her home only 4 hours after being released. I have had the worst struggle dealing with such a tragic loss. This song lets me let my tears fall as it is how I feel WORN. The Dr will never have to pay for her death. It has torn us all to pieces she leaves behind 4 children. 2 days before Christmas and I am a big ole mess missing her. This song makes me feel like someone understands this pain. I also live in Lake Worth , Florida where Tenth Ave. North is from. I think of the band every time I go past 10th ave North.

This song saved my life. I had a dream before seeing the music video that shared a striking similarity in imagery, right in the midst of the darkest days of my depression. I bawled the first time I saw the video. It was like, as if the dream wasn't enough, it was like God just coming forward and saying, "I know, and its going to be okay, so just be patient a little longer where you are and trust that I'm already leading you out of it."

I praise Lord Yeshua I almost died in June this year my lungs were filled with fluid due to a bacteria infection my kidney shut down and I was on life support for 2 days in ICU for a week and a hospital stay of almost one month
The Lord had mercy and let me live again I got out of the hospital on 7/1/15 then off dialysis on 7/20/15 and back to work on 9/21/15 I praise him and thankful for he's mercy and love

Oh, how this song captures the expression of my heart. Pain from childhood trauma still haunting me. Pain from chronic physical disease making it a choice every day whether to focus on the pain or the knowledge that God can still use me, even as a broken person.

A dear friend sent this song to me. My son is going through a hard time with drug addiction and this song really touched me.
Have you tried fasting for him? It worked for me, God heard my prayer and my loved one is now clean and sober
To be honest, it took about 2 years. I would fast for 3 days, then eat for 4, fast for 3, eat for 4. But it was a very bad situation and I was desperate. I couldn't work because of my health, and also because I couldn't leave my son home alone with him. Money situation was very very bad. But God kept my power on, and food in my house. He did many miracles. After the last trip to rehab, God took away his desire to drink. He never even thinks about it. He doesn't need AA. It has been 2 years now, and he went from being the worst to the best. God saved him overnight and took away his desire to drink. When I was fasting I told the Lord, I'll give up everything else, I don't care if we lose everything, just save this one soul, and he did. But we did have to start over basically from nothing. There is nothing a God will not answer if you pray and fast, but He has to contend with free will, and sometimes the other person is stubborn.they don't want to stop and the don't want Gods help, so you have to be patient, while he breaks the other person. Some people won't give in and ask God for help, until things get very very bad, but God will still answer your prayer.

So I know I already posted a lot on here but some people have been asking how my Mom is doing. She is doing wonderful! Her arm can do most movements! The doctor said it was one of the best elbow healings he has seen! Thank you so much!! Also some people have been asking how I am doing now. Honestly I am not doing the best. I have gotten back into an old addiction of mine but I am trying to climb out of it again, still lonely and I am even more terrified about the future because the changes are just months away! But I am hanging in their. It would mean a lot if you would still keep me in your prayers

Dear Caleb, God loves you and has wonderful plans for your young life. Whenever you feel worthless I need you to say a prayer. Ask God to open your eyes to the lies of the enemy and give you the strength to resist them. Believe that God loves you no matter what these thoughts try to tell you. In John 10: 10 Jesus says to you "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." The voice of the enemy wants to steal your joy don't let him. Say a prayer to Jesus whenever these thoughts come and ask Him to protect you. Another verse that can help you when you're sad is Jeremiah 29: 11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Also get familiar with the Psalms they are awesome prayers and you can feel comforted knowing that even David felt very sad sometimes. Psalms 6 is a good one. I said a prayer for you. Peace and comfort, little one.

Could you please pray for me? I'm a master's student and I'm 25 years old. I've been struggling with homosexuality and sin for more than 10 years and I haven't gone to church in more than 6 months because I'm so ashamed.
