Here we go round the mulberry bush on an adventure to a place we call Pickett. Lots of fun to be had including mud, nakedness, waterfalls, carnage, and one sketchy ass car hauler snafu.

I love off roading videos with RealLifeSound(TM) enabled. Every creak, rattle, snap and burble.... This is how videos should be!
i watched this video 7 years ago went out and bought a jeep and have been wheeling a jeep ever since, thank you Matt my life is better for it.
Great video ! Anyone who's been 4x'n knows this is the real deal. Its nice to see an actual 4wd video without the ridiculous metal music and shake cam .I would much rather watch these guys than some spoiled sponsored dudes in 100 thousand dollar rigs with a film crew .
Joe Dirt I can add metal music if you think it would be better;)
No way ! Your videos are great the way they are. My kids and I liked the video with the moustache. Fuuuunny stuff.
I don't know if that guy at the beginning is holding a beer, but I'm saying he is. He is the hero we need.
Another good wheelin video Matt, Keep em coming. This is the type of wheeling 95% of us do and enjoy.
I know this is an 'older video' - > but had to say this is the best off road video I've found to date, love the comradery of all of the drivers/passengers in the video. Make more of these.
After a couple times trying to come out of that mud on that ledge I would have hooked my winch up. Nothing good comes from hitting that hard. But, I love it that you guys try and grenade shit...LOL
I cannot wait until my Rig is ready for the dirt and mud!!!! I want to enjoy days like this! .... Great Job!!!
I knew this had to be Pickett :-) I've been up there a few times I live in Cookeville about 40 minutes away. Never made it to the car hauler somebody usually breaks something before then. It's bound to happen with so many of us are running CJ's. Thank you guys for the videos you save me so much time and effort trying to figure it out myself.
That's why I'm making my CJ with Chevy drivetrain.

For sure, as things break I am upgrading:) currently replacing the amc axles with Chevy half tons. Should be stout enough for my kinda wheeling. as soon as the motor or trans goes it'll be a 350 swap, just hope that's not anytime soon;)
What an awesome fun group, people like this are a big part of why i choose to continue to live here with the rest of society:/
that looks like one fun awesome trail i cant wait until my grand cherokee laredo 5.2 is worthy. still stock but im going to lift it very shortly and weld up some bumpers and rocker sliders. thanks for all the great videos on building jeeps on a budget.
I'm a diehard Land Cruiser Fj60 driver, but I'll have to say that this was a great vid. Thanks for sharing.
Christopher Manella I like Land Cruisers too!
The late 90s early 2000s was such a great time to be alive 😂
What a gorgeous area to be offroading!
Looks like hocking hills crazy!! Awsome video keep up the great work bud
Crazy fun watching all your videos. Stay safe have fun.
What a great place to ride! Need to make it back here again sometime soon.
Yall have some beautiful trails down there! Think my old K5 wouldn't fit up that old trailer, though.
The longest TH-cam video I have ever watched. It was worth it !!! Nice job.
one of the best wheeling videos on youtube. keep them videos coming dude . good deal
Great trip! I'd wheel with you guys and gals! Greetings from southern Vermont
Great video. Some very good driving but the guy that had the least enjoyable day was the guy driving the Ford "Scout". I thought that he was going to lose it on the PSP bridge. 😱
Awesome vid, looks like an amazing place to go wheeling.
I love good ol boys . Nice video looks like too much fun.
You guys are nuts!! But sure looks like you have a lot of fun doing what you do! Lol
I dont own a jeep but I subbed you anyway. This is one of the best wheeling videos I have seen on youtube.
Y'all wheel in some beautiful places. I live in Nashville and I think Tennessee has to be one of prettiest states.
Why don't you guys carry a nice little Ryobi Cordless chain saw. We carry one in every vehicle up here in the mountains cause trees only fall across trails. Haha. Dandahermit.
This reminds me so much of up here in Southeastern Mass except most all the trails have been closed now
what a great video very entertaining!
ive heard that most of the good stuff is being closed.
Beyond awesome! What a day!
So I like how the Bronco has the two adults inside the roll cage with 5 point harnesses and the kid sitting on a bench waiting to get smushed or thrown out...
Nicholas Englund Jackasses
daniel bean where did you ever go offroading in a back off a truck bed tell me that
for sure!
Hook the winch to it and pull er till she moves.
35 seconds in. Haha
Very nice vidio thanks for it with us wheelers i enjoyed it alot
4Runner have had these since the 90s and yes it is a very simple but awesome thing to put in SUVs and wagons
FANTASTIC!
That Yj didn't sound healthy. I never realized you guys rode Pickett. We ride there often. That mud pit the tj broke on is a little worse now. Took a teryx up it and thought I broke an axel lol. If you have never rode to the mineral pond it's a beautiful sight
@31:20 was a pucker-factor of 11 LOL
We call it Pickett, its up near Pickett State Park.
Ive had nothing but problems with my MileMarker and many other offbrands that I see on the trail, but Ive never seen a warn have a problem...
I know this is a old posting best four wheelin and great scenery!!!!!!!!!!
I'm surprised that blue jeep made it as far as it did
dang not one cherokee
Stihl Magnum well dang cherokees suck compared to a jeep grand Cherokee zj oh yeah by the way a jeep Cherokee is a xj
I legitimately wish I lived near all these guys. :)
awesome video
i have been watching youtube for years. this is the first channel i subscribed to, i like your project videos. looks like fun, i did not know this park was there. my dad has a bunch of land with a few trails between Monterey and livingston, i camp there, i will have to check out this park next time. is it open year round?
If you know the guy with the blue bronco, will you ask him where he got those gyroscoping cup holders? I could really use some in my xj. Thanks
Man you know what's crazy is I ride up there a lot and I remember once coming in and seein that green tj sitting there by that rock missing a rear shaft
Looks like a blast
Where do I find parts to give 4wd wider stance. Longer axles or something to add or change hub?
I know this is an old video, I'm trying to catch up. But I have to say I would love to live around there again. I lived in Pigeon Forge years ago but never heard about this place or I would have had to go trail riding and camping there as much as I could. That place is awesome! I'm back in Florida now, so it's a bit of a trip. Maybe one day.
you don't know me but I will call you my friend on here if that's alright. I'm 64 years old and all my life I'd say maybe someday. Well my friend some day never comes! after my brother died I finely got a clue and started to travel (Asia) and started to do many of the things I dreamt of my whole life. I'm too sick to do many more adventures but I hope you will take my advice, WORK TO LIVE!!! Don't live to work! Try to plan an adventure at least every 2 years and go and do things you don't think you can do , meet people you don't think you will like or understand. Don't stay in motels or hotels, arrange to stay with common everyday people and learn their customs, you'll have a blast! Good luck and God bless!
@@martens57 Thanks, my friend. God bless.
I am really starting to like your videos. most of these 4- wheeler's seem to be well seasoned and mostly all very capable Locked rigs without every single one of them being a JK..
I have 1990 wrangler I lorn bunch from you don't lessen estuped people keep working hard
thanks bro!
A couple of people in this group should sell their Jeeps and take up nature walks. lol.
keep um coming mat you make you tube interesting what do you think of all these new winches like smittybuilt quadreatec engo our should i just keep with a warn and drop the extra monies ?
yep, it isnt really a park but a state forest or something
Where is this at? I need to add to my bucket trail list
Any info on the ranger? Would love to see more of it
good vid!
it does help!
I know im late to the party, but it popped up on my feed. Great vids as always, had a lot of fun watching. Only thing I didnt like was the kid in the back of the bronco, no way would I do sketchy stuff with that youngin in the back and no cage over his head, just my .02
Your friend with the open differentials needs to learn to use the brake to stop the freewheeling and transfer torque back to the other wheel...
the obstacle around 15 mins....you all had too much air in the tires! happy wheelin
Good video Matt. Where is this? Or is it secret like your last adventure?
R wheeling videos make me wanna ride out to tn.
that is some really wonderful video of Mother Nature ... where was u at
Anthony Slabaugh Pickett state park in central tn
seen the car hauler knew that was Pickett. Took my wife wheeling there years ago intending to propose. good times
That was fun!!!
No car haulers were harmed during the making of this film.
Pretty sure that's my cousin Billie Joe's jeep at 17:12 moving in the back and then again at 17:28 parked on the right at Carpenters rock. Could be wrong but looks familiar.
I swear !! Google maps says there's a StarBucs right here under this hanging Clift.!!!
How'd the black wrangler with AT's do? I'm looking to get those tires but
Do you kkow What kind of exhaust does the black TJ w/flames have by chance?
at 6.03 you could have used some maxtraxs to raise the back wheels
i live in wayne county ky very close to these trails almost there every weekend
dbrum74 what's this place called I live around somerset ky
ya, thats what it was! Na, I am still broken from the last adventure.

What County is this in? I'm from Kingston Tn,
Wanna make sure they do well offroad. I'd drive on similar trails
They have gyroscopic cup holders for boats I'm sure you can customize one for a jeep
Is that coal creek in Tennessee that place has like 3 or 4 different names lol coal creek Oliver springs wind rock is that where you all are
christian canter no this is Pickett state park in Jamestown tn bout 2 hours from windrock
Did they or are they closing access to this area?
how'd that get back there the car hauler
Broken rear axle truss, broken shock mount and bent shock, bad tie rod, broke the track bar mount off the axle side, and broke the ring and pinion.
why didn't you just winch that fallen tree with the buggy and a snatch block?
sorry, no idea
Holy shit, you are in TN?
where is this trail located?
Would anyone know if a wj lift kit would fit my xj? Someone's selling one with a blown motor for a steal
if there were less water and the forest was on fire this could pass for picketts junction in S. Tahoe(nor-cal) instead of Tenn
@bleepinjeep where is this?????
