i think that 2.2’s release will see many new creators rise to fame. with how many new items there’ll be in the editor, new and old creators alike will be learning how to use them *at the same rate.* by the time old creators get the hang of the 2.2 editor, so will the newer creators. because of this, the new creators will be able to keep up with the rating standards consistently.
The ones who started in the 2.2 GDPS will probably have an advantage, like:
JohaNoha (After Dark layout, death effect)
LikeGG (Lava Trials)
SearD (Lost in the forest)
Robotic24 (In the Castle, 2.2 platformer main level sneak peek recreations)
Angel GD (Nekravol, 3rror, R3D ROOMS)
Also, the S.L.L list is gonna be funny with timewarp and gravity triggers combined with spamming

Tbh, any level that uses pixel blocks will be featured, which is what I'm gonna do

I think this rating system will be good because it will encourage people to put WORK into their levels and not be cp grinders. If your level is legendary, It will definitely get more exposure and will make you easier to get noticed.
Mind you that White Space and several random non-demons are “epic”, and I know dang well they aren’t on the same level as white space.
I don’t know about you, but I would much rather put time and effort into something I’m proud of to get 5 cp, then to make five just rated levels that nobody cares about.
Yup, I hope legendary/godlike levels get op promotion
I kinda fear robtop's bias being even stronger in the early days of 2.2. CP farmers will make levels as fast as possible and get a rate, while unnoticed creators might probably finish an actually decent level, but wont get recognition.
I think this is because the standards will drop because of the new update, and the creators not handling the features very well, and so the rated levels will probably be really bad for the first few months, and on top of that, being made mainly by cp farmers, which will keep all of the creator points for them
however, this can also be a good opportunity for small creators to rise, if they use the new features in a good way

All I want for the mod/rating system are clear rating standards and improved sending/rating methods. Currently, all the mods can do, in relation to rating levels, is send the level if they like it. Many levels are sent, yet only one person has the ability to rate them. Oh, and their standards are inconsistent and sometimes sucks. Getting rated is somewhat luck-based. If you're lucky, your level gets rated, regardless of how well it's made or how many mods send it.
However, the future is unpredictable, and we can't foresee what will happen until it actually occurs.
I’m hoping 2.2 is my opening to get mod. I love playing level requests and think I am a pretty decent judge of quality.

Instead of increasing the number of moderators, I would increase the number of people who can rate levels
Rating Standards prediction:,
Rated = as a unknown creator, definetely RNG
Featured = Generic "design" or "glow" with invis size changing portal abuse crap, now with camera transitioning abuse
Epic - needs a Sick clean transition, art level get ez epic of this
Legendady - "This isn't looked like geometry dash..."
Godlike - Build like "WHITE SPACE" or else get Epic or Legendary instead.

I hope the way it will work is the following: Currently just rated levels will become featured. Currently featured levels will become epic. curent epic levels will become legendary. Godlike will just be oevels better than the now legendary levels. Also this allows for more levels to get just rated making the rate standards lower would be great imo
This would make absolute sense! I believe this is what should happen because it wouldn’t make much sense of the standards for legendary and godlike just become higher than epic rate, because they would be almost impossible to get. At that point, what would be the point of adding new types of rates if the standards are gonna be the same?
I feel like it will be easier to get star only rates and feature rates, unless if the rate standards for legendary and godlike rate end up being higher than epic rate which doesn’t make much sense cuz then they will be impossible to get. I feel like it would make more sense if the standards would be lower for star rate and featured than they currently are since we’re gonna have 5 types of rates instead of just 3.

For difficulty ratings, I predict geometry dash will get worse than celeste with it's custom levels

I don't think the new higher ratings won't be in the game for a while cause robtop has to rate al of em. Or we might see more elder mods
