What is the WORST Map Pack in Geometry Dash?

- Geometry Dash map packs are considered terrible by the GD community. Given this, I set out to find the worst one which consists of the worst levels. I ultimately would rank the contenders and determine what the worst map pack really is.

Square adventure was a level in which I was completing on my way to complete all the map packs, safe to say, I died at 98% and haven’t touched any map packs since.

As someone who has beaten every map pack, my vote goes to the Twisted pack. Each level took me like 300 attempts because of how awful the gameplay was. Granted, that was a long time ago, and I wasn’t very good at the game back then. I think it was my second-to-last map pack.
Fortunately, I’m much better at the game now and average somewhere around 8-15 attempts per insane level. Let me tell you, getting through the map packs and gauntlets helped me build an endurance for beating levels I hate.

Yes! I haven't beaten every map pack but I have beaten all the non demon ones and I swear, Twisted Pack took me the longest. And actually, I didn't get annoyed, I kinda enjoyed it. Although I'll say it's 100% harder than Demon Pack 3 and 6, maybe even both of them.
I think they’re just rated incorrectly. I like Corrupted Kingdom personally but it took me around as long as Decode in terms of attempts when I beat it. It should be an easy demon. I think you could argue Tyrian Wall being an easy demon as well, but marginally. I don’t think it’s a bad pack, just outrageously difficult for what it is.

2:58 This map pack is what encouraged me to keep on grinding the map pack levels. It was such a breath of fresh air and they were fun and easy levels! (Like 5 att for each)

Honestly, I don’t think rating all the map packs together was a good decision. It would’ve been so much more interesting just to see which individual levels were the worst. I feel like with the map packs there’s just a few really bad levels like Square Adventure & PG Clubstep that are infamous & bring the map packs down. However, there’s also several actual good levels like Retray & The Prism that stand out as really good. But if you rank all the packs together, the really good levels & really bad levels in each pack are neutralized by the other 2 levels in their respective packs. No map pack contains 2 or 3 infamously bad levels to objectively make it a bad pack. The F tier levels are spread out in a way that makes no overall pack absolutely terrible. This is why it would’ve been so much more interesting to see what was the worst individual level instead of worst pack.

pg clubstep isn't that bad at all, it's just hard. I vividly remember Hating the other agonizingly painful and bad insane and demon packs.
I completed all the map packs in 2 months and the experience was not very good, the best part was when I completed them all and knowing that I will never have to play those aberrations that are called levels, although now I feel that the game is more empty, the map packs were something that you had there in case you wanted to play them to laugh a little but when you have completed them you feel that something important is missing. Now I want more map packs to come out xd

In my opinion, the worst map pack I have played so far is the electro pack the last level being a 4* called lunar ocean, IT HAS A 9 STAR WAVE PART
And the transitions are annoying af too

@@DryOut381 ok looking back at that I agree with you, but at least 7 star for the wave and 6 star for the ufo. The slow part at the beginning is annoying, and I would say that Lunar Ocean is more annoying than actually hard.
@@paffpostry3666 U should try "Scene Machine" on Twisted pack, and "Windings" on demon pack 8. Those will drive u insane bc it definently made me f up my device once or twice
PG Clubstep is the only reason I will never complete the map packs
For me the experience is not bad actually the worst one is ripplez adventures
I found Ripplez Adventures to be rather easy. PG Clubstep was my crowning achievement for a while, maybe a month or two. If you beat all other map pack and gauntlet levels, I’m sure that you can beat it with dedication!

Whichever pack has square adventure in it is the worst
As someone who completed all Map Packs not so long ago, I can say that most levels there are just a bit hard for beginners and the difficulty progress is kinda imbalanced. Sometimes you can beat them relatively fast but then you end up at the Dynamic on Track or something like that. (I'm talking about the old version of DoT, it was nightmarish for me at the time)
I should say that even though you might have a painful experience while going through Map Packs, you can at least build a strong tolerance towards levels you hate. It can help you get into the painful aspect of this game by making you beat some crappy levels for achievement progression.

In my opinion, the worst mappack is the chaos pack, just because of one level. Theory of Relativity is by far the worst level I have ever played, taking me over 1k attempts on this level alone (It was back when I was making good progress in Jawbreaker but still). I never want to lay eyes on this level again

If you are trying to beat all the map packs, the moment you get to the demon packs, it’s like hitting a brick wall in terms of motivation. It’s a struggle
The ending is the most wholesome thing I’ve ever seen in a while…

Eventually, you will start to desire for more achievements, more secret coins, and more icons. For that, the map packs must be suffered.
I am currently going through the insane map packs, and they make me want to die, yet I endure.

I agree, that is so far the most fun of the map pack levels I have completed. Square adventure is the worst one, but not as bad a Challenge by Mask463. So guys, there ARE worse levels than Square Adventure.

The UFO Pack was actually one of the first ones I beat for some reason. I do agree that it's super weird in terms of gameplay and could use varying concepts though.

6:10 personally i like this map pack because it have two of my first demons and its fine for starting, yeah that ship part and straightfly in Nightmare sucks and also that orb spam counting all of the 3rd level of demon pack 1, but i dont think what can be sooo bad.

i love the ufo map packs, and yes levels do deserve the worst map pack level, thus being 1. Square Adventures 2. Square Adventures and ah yes number 3. Square Adventures reasons: MASSIVE DIFFICULT SPIKE, its rated 5 stars, its apart of decent map packs

Let’s be honest here, map packs are forever gonna leave a scar on my face. These are still a pain and the literal peak TERRIBLE levels are chosen for these making them completely unenjoyable. Sometimes I wonder, is it not actually a skill issue, but an issue for the creator of the level? Because skill or not, these levels will continue to make me suffer

My monitor is 60hz, actually, if you are asking if it is possible it definitely is. I can beat that UFO part in Dark Paradise 1 att. This made me think I am so lucky with my low refresh rate
Square adventure was my last lvl to completing 10 map packs, and its safe to say, robtop was probably drunk when rating that shithole of a recent tab looking level

Honestly, the Map Pack idea is good, just some levels in the packs are just well, subpar.
Twisted pack. 600+ att for every level. On 3rd I decided to delete-glitch the rest of map packs, because I thought it'll get worse with next packs. Now I'm enjoying the game and not torturing myself
i hate the timed jump at 77% on square adventures, it has to be frame perfect and i am not spending 12 hours trying to master that frame perfect jump

look at a video of every extreme demon and find out which one has the worst decoration (*clears throat* conical depression)
What about the elecro pack? Lunar Ocean by Gelt is the worst out of the 3 levels in that map pack.

Alright dark paradise with the refresh bug you need a really good click and was able to do it after about 5 times

All of the packs you mentioned either aren’t really that terrible or only have 1 level that brings it down. To me, there is one specific map pack where all 3 levels are incredibly annoying with blind jumps and bad gameplay, along with deco that even for the time is painfully average. To me, that award goes to the twisted pack. Tyrian wall is insanely hard for an insane, as is corrupted kingdom, and scene machine has 2 really really annoying gameplay parts since jump pads aren’t used right and darnoc is a sadist.
What map packs in gd can teach you:
1. Depression
2. Depression
3. Depression
I'm sitting at a depressing 39 completed, and so far I'm guessing the demon pack with PG Clubstep and Flappy Weird lmao

I beated those levels before going to the map pack and I had no trouble!
Cookie pack's first level is too hard but it is normal and 2 or 3 stars and the third level is not a normal level they are good but when new players try to beat them they cant
Easy. UFO Pack or the Fast Pack. I hate those packs with a burning passion. Also, Lunar Ocean by Gelt is fuckin terrible.
Dark paradise is possible on 60 Hz so I'd say it's probably the best map pack.

For me personally - the worst map pack in GD history is that one pack that contains Dynamic on Track in it. Yep, just for that one level.
square adventure... died like 200 times at over 80%, wish i had used practice mode for it
My current least favorite map pack is the Electro Pack because I'm being filtered by Electro World :(
I think this ranking system is too objective, as weird as that is to say. It doesn't really capture what it feels like to play through the map packs, and the notorious reputation they have is for a good reason.
I feel like gauntlet levels should only be judged on gameplay, since otherwise it's unfair towards the older levels. There are 2.0 map packs that obviously have much better decoration than any old levels.
A lot of Pepole hate the Twisted Map Pack but other then the gameplay the levels in there are fine in my Opinion.

I will forever think the twisted pack is the worst because of the blood sweat and tears that I had to go through. I reach close to 1000 attempts with 992 attempts on one, 712 on the next, and 791 on another. I spent several hours into each level, I usually don’t get mad too easily, but this, I almost broke my device.

But Dark Paradise is awesome. One of my favorite levels to this day
the chaos pack is the worst level imo. especially theory of relativity, that level is by far the worst map pack level there is. everything bad characteristic of a level you could think of, theory of relativity has it. it took me well over 300 attempts when most insane levels usually take me anywhere between 10-100. i had more fun beating PG clubstep and the neptune V2 demon levels. i’m dead serious. the other two levels, however, are not a whole lot better. yeah, there’s other notorious levels like square adventure and dynamic on track, but theory of relativity is the worst one. albert einstein would be ashamed.
