What a nice small sized video light, if you only want a simple (single coloured) light for video or macro-photos, this is a great option!
Without any fancy additional colours it only boasts a single white LED with up to 1200lumens intensity.

Can you use this torch with plain 18650 batteries? Would they be big enough to make contact?

Yes, I use a regular button top LG MJ1 18650 and it works great.
