How to sign write a splash window

Hi thanks for watching. It's all done in flat waterbased paints. I find they stick best to glass and hides the brush marks. The chalk line is a signwriter's cotton chalkline, which is fine.. as opposed to a builders chalkline, which tends to be broarder and less accurate. I find that white or blue chalk works best, depending on the colour of the background. I hope this is if some help.
