Update on tune....... I now have Triumph Twin Power tune 20510, tune #12 for EFI Thruxtons. It addresses the low speed surging and low rpm stumbling which was the case with the previous tune.
Yes, it would need to be re-jetted. I've had two carbed Thruxtons, and ran 145 mains with 42 pilots here in Houston. I also had the airbox removal with K&N filters and the regular Predators. They ran great with no idling or popping issues. Pulled strong and linear from idle to redline. Depending on your location and elevation relative to sea level, you might need different sizes, but the above sizes will be close.

Why nobody could match Bullet sound?
The exhaust sound compensates for the mild performance of the older Thruxton.
How is the latest tune working out? I'm looking on adding the same slip-ons along with removing airbox, air injection, o2.

Yes. It cured the low speed surge and stumbling. The TTP tune runs strong and linear from idle to redline, no flat spots.

Michael Kane Those are the stock handlebars. The fuel injected models come with this style handlebar. The carbureted models had clip-ons.
