The gears are extremely tall on the aprilia. I had to feather that thing all the way to near 20mph… this was the rsv4 1100 factory (2020) ; i haven’t rode the new aprilia. R1 feels like any other liter bike.

absolutely. it's unique. i can sit on a porch and say "that's an R1" with confidence. my ears aren't tuned enough for all the other bikes yet.

@ape_rider definitely noticeable the audio is really crisp. Also thinking about upgrading to the 11 from my 7 huge jump for me.

Amazing video quality! Can I ask what you use for sound? Zoom H1 of sort looks to be among the popular ones.
I use a $20 mic from Amazon and just put it close to my exhaust ! Movo ACM 400 is the name.
do the gears (especially 1st gear) feel taller on the R1M vs the Aprilia RSV4? Or would you say the R1M is more fun & suitable for the street?
