Being an old road racer I can definitely tell you that you'll be back. I've had numerous broken bones and I said the hell with it and sold all my stuff. Now I'm 56 and can't wait to get back on and ride. I'm looking for an h2 now but your right about your second life I'm wanting to quit my job and chase my life dream but it's easier said than done. Damn brother! Hate to see you go but I totally understand the need to step aside for awhile. I low sided back in November. Oil slick in a turn on the freeway and I went down. Slid about 60 feet and when I turned to see what happened, all I saw was the bumper of the car that was behind me. Hurt my wrist and lower back. But seeing that car literally right next to my head scared the shit out of me. Bike was perfectly fine but mentally I was done. I tried riding a few weeks later but I was so scared. I was afraid to lean the bike in an angle. Turning was stupid slow. I gave up and about mid January got the urge to try again. I'm back on the bike and those fears are no longer lingering. But I am that much more cautious now. Learn from experiences right! Anyways, I know this is long but twke all the time in the world and if you never ride again, I'll still be a subscriber 💯

I remember commenting on your vidoes like six month ago because I was deciding on the 2022 S1k or the V4 and you gave me great advice.I feel you about the decision on not riding for awhile,do whatever is best for you.Hope to see you back in twos in the future.And can’t wait to see Wait the next content is all about.Much love and respect 🙏🏻

This one definitely hit me in the feels. I felt the same sense of sadness but at the same time understood why I had to sell my 1199S so many years ago.
It’s the hardest decision I’ve had to make but just have to. I’ll be starting fresh on a whole new journey but I’ll be sure to post content and keep folks updated. Thanks for the memories and keeping up with the channel!

Hey Bro, I've seen how much fun you had riding the Duca.and understand the reasons behind why you're giving up for the moment the riding part . Personally I went thru something similar back when i was a lot younger and even with my track experiences had to quit to reacess my priorities. I'm a firm believer that the track it's were this beautiful machines deserve to be unleashed. Maybe in the future you might find the same joy of doing some track days and build back up your confidence.
Hey buddy so sad to know your not going to ride no more or at least not for awhile. I've been riding for 35 yrs and all these years on Crotch Rockets. I always tell people to make sure you always are wearing riding gear on i see so many how don't and without gloves and for me i can't ride without my gear and gloves never. I take my riding very seriously and that's all you can do. I don't ride like so many young guy's who ride like an idiot cause their going to go down it's just a matter of time before that happens. Thanks for the video and take some time off and reflect on what you might of done wrong and you will realize it wasn't your fault it was do to the road with possible oil radiator fluid or what ever it might of been. From here you just need sometimes need to take a break and be greatful your ok. Please take care and God Bless you my friend. God has a reason for you to still be alive after your accident. Meant to tell you this earlier. With me approaching 40, I've decided on the Streetfighter V4S. It seems to be the better fit. I'd have a bike that I could totally have fun on the road and track, or go for a nice commute; all while being comfortable.
I completely understand. The realization you can't see oil or antifreeze on the road and the outcome it brings, so many discount as just part of riding. walk away healthy my friend especially if you're reasonably young with a lot of future ahead of you.
Shame pal, investing in some riding schools, track days and the confidence would build. I know you do a lot of miles A year later you have been so glad still riding. Best of luck
Nothing comes close to Ducati in terms of looks. R1 Sounds amazing but the Ducati is on an entirely different level in performance, electronics and clout. Its definitely a show stopper.
