The water is so low on our little river that even the gars have moved out.we havent caught a catfish on the english river( eastern iowa) since june.very sad
Coming from ne where we have a lot of 10-20lb channels, they are pretty fun. Those cats can really bury a rod in the spring time. But flatheads still better😅

If you use old fashioned braided Dacron 100 lb test Ice Line it's the same diameter as 20 lb braid and if you try to break it with your bare hands you better have gloves on it or are you going to be missing a couple of fingers
