That’s the beauty of using the airbrush, also after painting a monochrome portrait you can change the mood of the painting by spraying a transparent colour over the finished work without losing detail of the original .
I think a couple of hours can’t remember exactly, as I have to talk during the painting it really slows me down I would be able to get it done to the level of detail in about an hour . I did a metre square full portrait years ago and that took several weeks to do in monochrome.
Gorgeous so cool, loved this video love seeing the possibilities, I have an ultra 2024 and looking to move beyond just minis, if doing canvas work like this or even say something like the skateboard would I still use the adjustments on the ultra or turn it to the open position and and get used to using the trigger? Those stops on the ultra really helped me to get used to trigger positioning for putting paint down on minis and just wondering if it could also help with doing other work or if a longer pull if required to effectively get the paint down to other surfaces?
Just try 😊 ultimately it’s great to learn to work with a free trigger. The ULTRA system is really just to teach you some muscle memory prior to that, but the idea is that you take the training wheels off at some point 😊
Amazing that you can go from a white canvas to a cool B&W painting. Bravo 😊
Indeed 😊

Great👍
🤙🏻😊
What paint is that again
I do wonder if trying some 2D work would help with 'brush control when working on minis
Oh my goodness, so much so! Try it! 😊
Try it you’ll be surprised what you can achieve the more you paint the more control .
Did you go through which paints to use on canvas or did I miss that in the video?
