- Filling up the freezer with Rogue River salmon! Best tasting salmon found on the west coast. The Rogue River is an amazing fishery. It's filled with huge salmon. We stayed at Cougar Lane Lodge which is a few miles upriver from the Rogue River. Carson's Guide Service was perfect for a trip with the boys....and huge Rogue River salmon.

Porter. Great fishing in Southern Oregon. I think I know your secret spot.
Brah! Keep it on the down low please 🙏. Thanks for the comment. What a great place in the world!!!!! Love it there.
40" 40 lbs? Yall are hilarious. My pb is 42" and weighed 27.6lbs. This year I landed a 36" that weighed 20.3lbs. So yall pulling numbers outta your....

Can't fix stuuuupd@@CanalLifeSWFL
@@CanalLifeSWFLlet me get this straight. Yall used the one calculator that gives an obscene weight when all the others are within 1-2lbs of each other saying a 40" fish would be between 24-27lbs No wonder dude is giving y'all a hard time. Even my personal pb of 44" was only 35lbs so yall definitely goofy saying a 40" fish is 40lbs
Length 40.25”. Girth was 27”. We didn’t have a scale so you could be right. The equation we found was (length x girth x girth) / 740. Not an exact science…still a great fish.
Definitely a mid to lower 25# fish. My PB is a 44#. It wasn’t by any means a long fish. I’ve gotten plenty of fish in the 30# plus range built like footballs. I really don’t get why people care about length when it comes to fishing, especially Kings.
I caught a 40" King from the bank, up here in Juneau AK this year, and it was about 40lbs.. 44lbs is my best.. From the bank as well.. Lots of nice ones from the boat but no monsters.. Nice fish!
First 40” I’ve seen. Incredible fish.
Why are you lying. Aint no 40" fish 40lbs
The average 40" Chinook weighs about 25 lbs
@@nevadaboy9769 Exactly.. That is what makes it so impressive..
🤩 Great Job Guys, Great Vid, Wish I was there 🎣🏆
I used your kid out of the street quote!
Definitely the pale ale!
Definitely 👍
A secret spot yet everyone is there on their boats
Exactly!
ALE!!!
👍
Theres prob about 100 boats in the Rogue Bay, its not like you can hide a secret spot lol
There was probably more. Crazy crowd but people seem to give space as needed.
@@CanalLifeSWFL Yep I'll be leaving this Nevada desert heat the last week of August to go there and join the fun, heck there is more boat traffic than we have vehicles here lol
Great Porters also.
Shit kids we been using coors light for years to catch them bay kings. Cougar lane is awesome too…how bout bear camp??
Haven’t been to bear camp
there all good boyz!!!!
True!!!
Lager definitely the beer of beers. Not sure Porter really qualifies 😜
Agreed!
Combat fishing at its finest. I'd prefer the Kanectok experience by far.
It was true 180’. Still great time with friends but, I agree.
Pale Ale
Nice!
When was this? I wanna make a trip sown to oregon
This was the second week of September. My buddy went back up there a week ago and they did well on the river. Totally different type of trip; incredibly scenic.
