    A dozen half days down and I can’t say enough about how much i enjoy this board! I was looking for a hard carving board but with a little fun flex and this one delivers. You were so spot on with your take on carving this thing. Get on edge and go!! Load the tail and launch to the next edge with ease. Catch my self grinnin almost every time. Trustworthy on the icy slopes as well….have yet to kick an edge and this says alot being in Michigan. Thank you again for the accurate review….love the content!

    Hey Averin, I just picked up a discounted 161W from my local hills shop. I guess they dropped the wide sized in mid season? i cant complain the plank is a very welcome replacement for my aging Outsiders 156W. Im older and fatter, so the bigger size and more chill flex are very welcome to me. So far with like 5 days on it im on love. It rips trenches even with my size 11 (also wide(new to the line this season)) 32 team-2 boots. I feel like my union contact bindings i have from a couple seasons ago are a bit too surfy for my taste. Sick plank. I get why Chris Grenier chose it for his first capita ride.

    Amazing review, as always!
    Bought an Arbor relapse 153 cause one of your reviews, now wanted to changue to a something bigger. I'm waiting for your review on the Yes Jackpot. Can't decide between Indoor Survival 154 or Jackpot 154 (165 lbs 5'6'' and 8 Boot). What board do you recomend (love to carve, love jibbing, love park!). Awesome content as always! Hey man love your reviews! I'm doubting to get more into the park this year, but will also be doing plenty of all-mountain stuff. I'm stuck between this Capita Indoor Survival in 156 or a 157,5 GNU Riders Choice from 2020. Which one would you suggest? I'm around 194lbs and 6'3.

    Hey, I'm an intermediate rider, have been riding for a couple of years now and looking to upgrade my board. I like all mountain boards that can do a bit of everything as this is the way I like to ride. What would you recommend between the burton custom camber, the indoor survival, capital mercury, capital D.O.A or salomon craft?

      I have a Mercury as my daily driver. The best way to describe it is that if you're at all hesitant, you die. But if you drive it hard and show it who's boss, then it is the best board in the world. It will go full warp speed and still keep laughing at you for being a lil b!tch. I f'n love it hahaha

    @angrysnowboarder Last year I rode the Jackpot and wanted something similar but stiffer and more nimble. I feel like the Rome Agent was pretty much the same as the Jack Pot (a little stiffer.) And Indoor Survival is stiffer and more nimble than both. All amazing boards. Indoor is Harder to press as you said, but thats a fine trade off for me. Seems fine in Half Pipe. Exactly what I was looking for over all. Thank you. Are there a couple of boards you would recommend for half-pipe? Maybe even a little stiffer and better in the ice? (just learning half-pipe this year but super fun.) Or am I fine with Indoor. My second board is the Mega-Mercury. Amazing but definitely more for fresh snow and big mountain it feels like. Not so fun in park. At least for my riding level. Have not tried it in the pipe.

    • @AngrySnowboarder
      @AngrySnowboarder  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      You're just learning, ride the Indoor. Keep your edges sharp and remember you're only on edge in the flat bottom of the pipe, when you're going up the walls you want to be flat based.

    I’m deciding between this and the GNU headspace for a camber dominant board that can hit hard carves, land any jumps, and hold a carve in icier conditions. I ride in CA and the mountain I’m on gets pretty icy so I’m leaning toward the Headspace but this graphic is toooo nice

    How does it compare to yes Decade? Would it be a good replacement? Or just keep the Decade.

      The closer one to the Decade is the Mercury not this board.

    Suitable in a 2 board quiver with something like the excavator? Looking for a mid flexing twin to work on freestyle and switch riding while I ride with my (beginner skiier) girlfriend. Is the nearly full camber/base structure on this likely to be too punishing for switch progression?
