As an American I look at the Queen and the royal family as representatives of England. She is interesting and maintains a certain mystique which enhances her image. She IS England. And, as a point of interest, Charles will also do a fine job. Just remember this, The royal family brings a lot of money into your Country and is much less costly than our president. You would never want that bill.
