Wow... (both) of you gentlemen are the ultimate tenor players in my eyes! 🎶🎷 I love vintage Conn saxophones - I really need to put some time into playing a few of mine this autumn & winter for once... it has been decades for me.
Thank you very much! I've come to appreciate the soft and smooth saxophone tones more and more. Is it my age? 😀 Like tthat of he Conn Steelays. However they are not for all situations. Neither is this Runyon I think. But the warm tone keeps haunting me.
@@vrumvr6 Thank you very much for your kind words. Yes, the vintage Conn saxes are something special to love. I' ve been playing Conns almost since I started out with playing saxophone. Well not really. The first one was a beaten up '60s Bundy that when looking back was not bad either. I sure hope you'll find time to pick up your Conn saxophones again. I recognize the dilemma of making time for it very well. But it is addictive. So beware. I hope you'll have to oppertunity to post some of your playing here in the future. I love to listen to how other musicians play and sound particularly on Conns. Like Jerome. A great musician.
that's beautiful
want to play it again and again
Thank you very much for listening and your nice comment! I am glad you like it.
what a beautiful tone very soft playing and sparkling out of the horn, wow! 02:57 genius
