I love these ideas! I'll certainly try them over the next weeks. I've started running in January and I've discovered (and subscribed to!) your channel a couple of months ago. I've already learned SO much, and gotten so many ideas, and it WORKS! Thank you very much & keep up the great work!
Hello, I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and I’m wondering what you think of zone 2 training. I’m one of those runners that’s prone to injury and am trying to find ways to keep my heart rate low enough on those easy days. I’m not a new runner. I ran in high school, college, and now post college. My resting heart rate can get below 40 at times but I would say it is around 50. No matter what I do my heart rate seems to stay around 170 or 180 during those easy sessions!!! What do you think?
These are fantastic, especially the one about gnarly trails. If I know I'm going to be moving slowly on technical terrain, I will turn off audio updates in my strava app (equivalent to removing your watch or not looking at it) so as not to be "distracted" by pace. I'm a firm believer that in any run where pace is not a concern, it's generally better for me if I simply don't know. That being said, I will review my pace after recovery runs and I have found those seem to correlate strongly with how beat up I'm feeling from any recent training. Also does anyone else feel generally "blah" on recovery runs or is it just me?
Great video, thanks for more ideas for more workout runs

Awesome, thanks! Never heard of the pacing game, so will give it a try!

Respect Jason for using the ‘real’ football field. :))))
Did this after most 800m races not the speed bit jogged barefoot recovery run
Some easy barefoot running is great after a short, speedy race 👍
I have run from age 4to age 57
You got meat "barefoot strides". Thank you for that.
