Those Coleman coolers and lawn chair are awesome! My family had those back in the 70's, oh memories. Sit back and crack open a few listening to the ballgame while bbq'ing and watching the kids play wiffle ball. Enjoy your day

He helped prevent her from selling other clubs that didn't need to be in there and that weren't part of the set. He 'could' have just bought the whole set for those clubs and sold them, which may have put her at odds with her hubby. Instead, he called it out to her and she was thrilled and he was happy to be of help to her whether she had anything to buy or not. That's a quality that we need more people with nowadays.
The coolers are missing the trays that would have been in them. We USED TO have a couple of older Coleman coolers (one green, one red) but, they were both stolen.
My dad used to buy the rolls of webbing and re-weave those lawn chairs when they got frayed or torn. You only needed to replace the frayed parts and not the whole chair. Those chairs lasted forever!! Memories... Thank you for taking me along!

That was some great buys. The two coolers, and the vintage lawn chair were the best finds I think. Usually they are not in as good of shape as the ones you found. Mystery gifts were cool too.

fyi, those Gates, with the big circles between each panel, that's a swimming pool kid protection. you have holes drilled in your deck, you put poles in each hole and then you put the gate around the pool. it's to keep the kids from falling in it. I used to install them.

Reference to the bobble heads: Two is a happy accident, but three is a collection!!! I think that applies to pretty much anything!! From an addicted collector of pretty much anything that Im drawn to! I had a shop in Md., and the stuff I found totally supported my yardsales/junk shop !!!

I was at the garage sale where you bought the tennis rackets and coolers. There was a Sony CD player right by the rackets and I was going to buy it and forgot to go back over and pick it up. That was my best garage sale of the day. I bought so much from them. I need to start looking at rackets ... I walked right by those. The prices at that sale were amazing!!

Good finds. I bought one of those play yard things that look like baby gates and mine has 8 sides. My grandkids don't even use it, so I just used it to block off a square of grass I planted. This way the grandkids and dogs will stay off, lol.

Many times the CD players go south in that particular cool cased wooden boxed radio that's what happened to mine... through radio still works on mine... they were very popular as gifts to customers 15 or 20 years ago... I think that's how I acquired mine...

This was a fun video to watch. I loved the white elephant gift opening. I was curious to see it because we do that every year for Christmas (except 2020).
I couldn't believe that they were only asking 10 bucks and he asked her if she would take FIVE! I thought that was so rude. I could never do that but then again I'm not a yard saler.
It is normal and expected to bargain at yard sales. It's not rude. The seller can always turn down the offer or make a counter offer. And the radio was missing a cord. You don't know the history of an item and how long or where the seller has been trying to sell it. For example: Earlier this year I helped a friend at her yard sale. She allowed me to sell some of my things. I had some castle hanging ornaments that we had tried selling at her booth in an inside flea market. It was at the end of the day and a customer was looking at them with longing. I made her a group offer so she could buy them all. I sold about 5 at $2.00 each even though original asking price was $8.00 each. I even threw in a storage box because I wanted the items gone, to a good home.

I ended up finding a Cleavland Indians baseball hat new era and it was only 6$! I’m not old enough to start my own eBay acc so I ended up asking my dad if I could use his. I put it up 7 days ago and the bids already at 20$ ending tomorrow! I just wanted to thank you for helping me with packaging and what to look for. I rarely comment on people’s videos but I just had to cuz your so great. Much love ❤️
You know...that wouldbe a neat charity thing for resellers to do at their get together...each wrap and bring a couple wrapped items they bought and bring to event to do an suction with monies to go to a charity.

Hey John! I’ve sold a few baby gates/playpens before. Those look like the good brand North States. I’m able to sell those for like 30-40 up here in Lafayette, IN (not soo far!). And if it’s a really wide entrance one I think you can even pull $50 at times. Those things always sell easily. Also, I love that Spirit of St Louis radio! Gonna keep my eyes peeled for one of those. Never seen one before but I definitely would have picked it up at that sale just for its looks. Take care!
Nice finds there :). I love yard sales also. Can find some neat things for a reasonable price for yourself or for resale. I bought a Radio Flyer child's trike on FB Marketplace for cheap knowing I could make some $ on it. I guess the lady whos it was seen it up there for higher than I bought it for and she commented under the ad giving me a tongue lashing and calling me a "piece of trash". Told people in the comments that's what i do buy things cheap and sell it for double or triple what iI bought the item for. I reported her. I told her I bought it fair and square and it's mine and I could resell it for whatever amount I wanted too. I sold the trike in 3 days. For a small profit of $25

Hey John! I’ve sold a few baby gates/playpens before. Those look like the good brand North States. I’m able to sell those for like 30-40 up here in Lafayette, IN (not soo far!). And if it’s a really wide entrance one I think you can even pull $50 at times. Those things always sell easily. Also, I love that Spirit of St Louis radio! Gonna keep my eyes peeled for one of those. Never seen one before but I definitely would have picked it up at that sale just for its looks. Take care!
Those gates/yard gates are great for our small dog when traveling in our Motor Coach! We bought ours new and they labeled them as portable dog pens.

Nice finds there :). I love yard sales also. Can find some neat things for a reasonable price for yourself or for resale. I bought a Radio Flyer child's trike on FB Marketplace for cheap knowing I could make some $ on it. I guess the lady whos it was seen it up there for higher than I bought it for and she commented under the ad giving me a tongue lashing and calling me a "piece of trash". Told people in the comments that's what i do buy things cheap and sell it for double or triple what iI bought the item for. I reported her. I told her I bought it fair and square and it's mine and I could resell it for whatever amount I wanted too. I sold the trike in 3 days. For a small profit of $25

Wow must be a real rich area your in all of them houses were huge and the one persons parking was the size of walmart parkin lot!, So nice!! There driveway is bigger then my whole place dad but true .I envy them in there gorgeous houses.sighhh I can only hope one day I'll get a house bigger then my shoe box of a mobile home
