- I started making bandsaw cars several years ago. Just a couple of years ago I watched The Blue Light Turner turn a car that was very similar to what I was used to doing. And I thought, “ Why not?” Here I turn a pair of cars for my customer/friend who needed two more for her sons-in-law.

Thank you Jim!
L9oks like a fun turn i cab see kids having lots of fun playing with these
Thanks for watching. Kids and grown ups as well. 🤣
Nice job.
Thanks!
Nice kids toy Doug.
Thank you Walt. These are going to adult men though. Lind of an executive desk toy KING of thing. They do make good kids toys though.
Fun project. Turned out very nice 😊
Thank you! 😊 These are a lot of fun. I’ve found that they can either drawn out or just turned by eye. Sharp gouge and a good bit of speed are the tricks of the trade here. Go for it.
That's a really cool project thanks for sharing.
You’re so welcome. I have an order for several to go into a store next Christmas season. Just another way of doing these fun little toys.
Nice Doug! Reminds of the some cars I made our kids years ago. But I only turned the wheels.
Turning the body makes it extra special.
Thank you Gary. I bought these wheels. Could have band sawed the body, but me a turner. A lot more fun to turn them. 😃
Very cool! I can see where that would sell a lot
Thank you Bailey. I use free construction scrap for these so I’m only out the wheels and axels. If I’m not recording the process I can turn 4-6 cars an hour, probably more if I’m doing a production run. Pretty inexpensive for the sales price.
