- A step by step guide on creating an OP FIRE SPELLSWOR BUILD on Legendary Difficulty. Utilising the One Handed, Heavy Armor, Destruction, Smithing, Enchanting and Alchemy Skills . Played on Skyrim the Special Edition. No mods were installed during the playthrough and the build was played entirely on Legendary Difficulty.
Final Stats: Level 45

After making and enchanting the final armor I recommend making Smithing or Enchanting Legendary to regain the spent perk points, this will give you extra perk points to bring out the build's full potential. Alternatively you can also complete the Dragonborne DLC to reset perk points without resetting the skill to 15.

Use muffle to level up you illusion ,then get the aspect of terror perk. Since fire spells count as a fear spells this will buff you fire damage by alot

For builds that use destruction, a garden of blue mountain flower, glowing mushroom and nightshade can work as well, the 2nd most valuable potion you can grow. Since after 100 alchemy you can use blue flowers with various things for healing potions and nightshade with mushrooms for fortify destruction potions, to keep it viable on legendary.
Just a heads up- "targets on fire take extra damage" just means the fire adds damage over time effect for 3 seconds, not that while burning your weapons will do more damage. That being said, the DOT stacks, so short bursts of the flame spell does more damage for less magika than a steady stream.

But at this point, I can't do another Spellsword, this took me 6 hours, it's either I did something wrong that made it take longer, or if it actually took 6 hours.

TIP: In the new anniversary edition, you are able to use the new "unbound storm" spells to level destruction to 100 immediately by completing the enchanting shown and casting it then fast travelling.
You don't even need the enchants you can just fast travel while casting

@@Naughty-Carlos If you have Secret of Arcana or have enchantments that lower cost by 100, you can just fast travel with the spell. But if you don't have enough magicka, yes, it will cancel.

I must say, I appreciate the courtesy in every video to show that one Stormcloak soldier getting decapitated. I don't know why, just the sudden cut to and from the soldier always gets me for some reason, it's great.

After many years I've finally returned to Skyrim. This was the build I chose so I'm glad to see a tutorial on it!
I was beginning to feel overwhelmed by the vastness of this game and the brokenness of the alchemy/enchanting mechanism but watching your guide has given me direction, so now I feel like I can stay on the path and finish this playthrough while I await the release of Starfield.

@@michaelgunnels9694 I mean, the dragon slayer build is technically then same as the dual wield build, because of them both being about dual wielding
Notes: priest, not slayer;
the dual wield is different, he could not enchant the swords, if so, the elemental fury shout doesnt work, and the slayer build is focused (obviously) in killing dragons with the lowest possible damage taken by them
@@jaredalexander6112 The Dual Wielding build uses an Orc, and use two swords, and he cannot enchant him, because elemental fury don't work in enchanted weapons, and the gear is not enchanted too
Spent the last couple days making this build, just finished my final set of armor.. used Dragonplate armor instead of Chitin and it looks amazing... thanks for the great build 😊

Holy shit Fevvy your timing is impeccable. I was just thinking a few days ago that I wished you would do a fire spellsword build
I usually do pure builds, but I’ve been experimenting with hybrids lately, and I love the idea of a fire spellsword. I wonder if Flame Cloak is affected by Aspect of Terror, like the target fire spells are? If so, it should give it similar buffed damage as Flames. Also, I think a Necromage vampire increases the radius of Cloak spells, I’m not sure. And being a Dunmer would negate the fire weakness.
Then, with Anniversary Edition, reserve some space on the Farm for Nightshade and Glowing Mushroom, for Fortify Destruction potions. Without any “Fortify Alchemy” equipment, 100 Alchemy with beneficial perks makes Destruction spells 75% more powerful.

I don't know aabout thse guys but I personally would love to see a re-vamp of "OP Battlemage" with all the things that you do now. See what improvements could be made. Granted the premiise of that build would be next in the spellsword line. One-Handed + Shock. Either way just do what you feel like Fevvy.

Hey Fevvy you should make a build around the use of the spiders from the dragonborn dlc. You could be a really colorful argonian that throws spiders at people and plants poisons in their pockets.

I just have 5 lockpicks and this is an Master lock . On a New xharacter.
The frost Battle mage will be really strong using stahlrim gear, especially since they get a bonus 25% to frost enchantments, making it the strongest weapon type in game paired with chaos.

Hey man, I'm teaching my little ones how to play after playing for years myself they like poisons and restoration spells, could you create a poison and restoration based character? Just an idea, love your shit keep it up

Well I'm not fevvy, but I can try and help! To Raise restoration, the main thing is to get most spells with "undead" in the name. Go to white run, and get in the catacombs. Bully them with restoration, and it'll raise moderately. I recommend using enchanting to get it faster. At level 70 restoration, get the necromage perk and the circle of protection spell. You can spam that over and over, getting leveled up fast. For alchemy, you can follow what the video does. After that, try and find any ingredients with ravage health as they make the best poisons. Finally for gear, I recommend enchanting and smithing Dawn breaker for roleplaying, and the snow elf armor you get in dawn guard. It fits the build perfectly, and I recommend restoration and destruction enchantments
This was really cool ! I tried this build (a lot of hours were required...) and this is so fun and powerful ! :D But I made more powerful smiting/alchemy clothes (43% buff) like in the video "How to build an OP Dreardlord"

I genuinely admire your videos Fevvy, they're so fun to watch. However, in my humble opinion, spending the first 30 levels grinding and exploiting crafting skills really ruins the amusement you take from the game. And admit it, if anyone out there tried these builds, they tend to get boring quickly after a certain level... So if you are a new player, you absolutely shouldn't try this with your characters.
This is true. This is why I don't play legendary. Turn it down to master and progress naturally is the way to go.
I agree. I’m playing Skyrim vr for the first time and it’s my second play through of Skyrim in general and I already had progressed naturally before looking up this and I seen everything that was done before starting the actual game and decided to follow the build but play like I was before. I’m leveling up and getting new things, and it’s constantly exciting. I’ve done stuff like this before in other games and highly only recommend this kind of preparation for a seasoned player looking for a different experience. Which is probably the aim of the content anyways but yea.

Bottom is definitely support build or illusion build since they don't do anything. Top probably goes to frost, since he doesn't even need full armor to be a tank

Its kinda the battlemage but that one uses a mace and not a sword so its not a spellsword
@@oDogg0206 Spellswords use maces too. They don’t use conjuration. And besides morrowind, are tankier than a battlemage.

1:00 you know, that's always confused me. Im unsure if it means being on fire makes you more susceptible to damage or you take extra damage over time from the lasting burning effect after you stop actually attacking them. I think it might be the latter one because the first one doesn't make much sense from a logical perspective but it's kinda weird that they worded it like that
It basically means that the target will be on fire even after you stop hitting them with the flames and while they're on fire, they will take damage before it goes away.
Tip
While chosing your character's race, pick an Imperial, they are good at Magic and One-Handed.
