▶️ Here is a full drum TUTORIAL on how to play this funky drum groove, using the PARADIDDLE drum rudiment! The video breaks the groove down and gives a step by step guide as to how a beginner drummer should approach learning it. The paradiddle is an extremely versatile rudiment when it comes to creating drum grooves, so have a go at this one and if you master it, come up with other groove variations of your own!
▶️ As always, when you are learning something new, remember to keep the TEMPO down until you are comfortable at the speed you are at. COUNT ALOUD before and during playing and keep notation in front of you to make sure what you're playing is correct. I hope you got something out of this drum lesson!
