It’s amazing how many people someone can reach on the internet.. I didn’t watch her, but reading all these comments is very heart warming. It’s always great to know that there’s lovely people out there who have built communities where they are open about their struggles, and make content that helps other people, and brings joy to their day. In the time I spent away from your content, I’d think of you from time to time, wondering how you were, what you were doing. Sometimes I’d circle back to videos of you exploring Japan, and I was inspired to visit. I don’t know if it was actually what Japan had to offer, or whether it was just seeing how much light and joy you radiated while doing what you loved. I feel absolutely sick to my stomach thinking about how you’re really gone, Alex. I’m with the other comments, hoping this is all one very cruel joke. I've followed Alex for years on her Instagram account and loved watching her trips to Japan, hauls and seeing her daily life. Haven't stopped thinking about her all day. She was such a kind, gentle soul and a true friend to the furs and the feathers. Will really miss her, obviously not as much as her friends and family, but I will miss her presence on earth. It was not cause of suicide. The new update revealed that it was due to some rare heart infection. It's why she would stop streaming early sometimes because she felt tired, faint and trouble breathing. If only it was spotted sooner 😢

Alex helped me find the perfect shade of pink. I've been watching her since the start of her channel. I remember when she would show us her whole life as a starting youtuber. I was so proud of her for her weight loss videos, and I was so sad to hear about her divorce. When I got the notification on TH-cam that my favorite youtuber of years has passed, I was like, all of you heartbroken. My heart is especially hurting for the family. I'm struggling to take this in. I hadn't seen a video for a few months and thought i'd check in and see what Alex was up to, and suddenly see a sea of memorial comments. I'm heartbroken for Alex, her loved ones and her precious pets. Alex's videos got me through some of the darkest moments of my life, and with my divorce timeline parallelling hers, I felt less alone. Whatever happened, she will be missed by hundreds of thousands, the world over, whose lives she touched and enriched. I'm so sorry 😓

I’ve been watching Alex since I was 13, she was my outlet at my lowest when I couldn’t even get out of bed her videos helped me put my mind to something else. She helped me discover my sense of style and my love for fashion. It’s been a while since I’ve sat down and watched a pretty pastel please video but for some reason lately she had been weighing heavy on my mind. In the time I spent away from your content, I’d think of you from time to time, wondering how you were, what you were doing. Sometimes I’d circle back to videos of you exploring Japan, and I was inspired to visit. I don’t know if it was actually what Japan had to offer, or whether it was just seeing how much light and joy you radiated while doing what you loved.
I feel absolutely sick to my stomach thinking about how you’re really gone, Alex. I’m with the other comments, hoping this is all one very cruel joke. I cannot mentally wrap my head around it at all…
You shared so much of your life with us, even if that opened up unsolicited criticism and hatred. You never deserved to be treated so poorly. I've followed Alex for years on her Instagram account and loved watching her trips to Japan, hauls and seeing her daily life. Haven't stopped thinking about her all day. She was such a kind, gentle soul and a true friend to the furs and the feathers. Will really miss her, obviously not as much as her friends and family, but I will miss her presence on earth. @@localoca1313 it was on reddit primarily i believe, i’m not entirely sure so if you’re really curious i suggest diving into it on your own, but from what i understand it was a wide variety of criticisms but they were really rough, on her. she also apparently talked about on her tiktok how she lost many of her friends and how rough her divorce was :(
It was not cause of suicide. The new update revealed that it was due to some rare heart infection. It's why she would stop streaming early sometimes because she felt tired, faint and trouble breathing. If only it was spotted sooner 😢

Alex helped me find the perfect shade of pink. I've been watching her since the start of her channel. I remember when she would show us her whole life as a starting youtuber. I was so proud of her for her weight loss videos, and I was so sad to hear about her divorce. When I got the notification on TH-cam that my favorite youtuber of years has passed, I was like, all of you heartbroken. My heart is especially hurting for the family. She didn't commit suicide. She had a rare heart infection and sadly had gone unnoticed and unchecked so unfortunately this is what took her away from us 💔

I'm struggling to take this in. I hadn't seen a video for a few months and thought i'd check in and see what Alex was up to, and suddenly see a sea of memorial comments. I'm heartbroken for Alex, her loved ones and her precious pets. Alex's videos got me through some of the darkest moments of my life, and with my divorce timeline parallelling hers, I felt less alone. Whatever happened, she will be missed by hundreds of thousands, the world over, whose lives she touched and enriched. I'm so sorry 😓

I’ve been watching Alex since I was 13, she was my outlet at my lowest when I couldn’t even get out of bed her videos helped me put my mind to something else. She helped me discover my sense of style and my love for fashion. It’s been a while since I’ve sat down and watched a pretty pastel please video but for some reason lately she had been weighing heavy on my mind. I decided to watch a video to help me sleep tonight as I’m craving that sense of nostalgic comfort and that’s how I found out the news. I’m having a hard time accepting it but my heart goes out to all of her family and friends. Rest in peace Alex you will be missed by so so so many and remembered for so so so long.

I remember when I first discovered you in middle school while I was doing my homework and crying, in that video you were doing a try on hall and you said that “you should always be yourself no matter how hard life gets, all you’re gonna have is you” I completely forgot the reason why you said that, but for some reason it affected me a lot.
