Jazz Pianist & Composer, Laszlo Gardony is a critically acclaimed artist who has performed in 27 countries & released thirteen albums. Sunnyside recording artist / First prize winner at the Great American Jazz Piano Competition / Professor of Piano at Berklee College of Music.
Gardony's 2015 live sextet album, "Life In Real Time" and his 2017 solo disc, "Serious Play" were both named as one of the "Ten Best Jazz Albums of the Year" by the Boston Globe. "Serious Play" was also on Down Beat Magazine's "Best CDs of 2017" list.
Gardony has been praised for his “fluid pianism” by The New York Times and Dave Brubeck called him a "great pianist."
Performed and/or recorded with Dave Holland, David "Fathead" Newman, Randy Brecker, Dave Liebman, Eddie Gomez, Miroslav Vitous, Matt Glaser, Don Braden, Bill Piece, Stan Strickland, Yoron Israel, John Lockwood, Mick Goodrick, the Utah Symphony, the Boston Pops among others.
