Zermatt, Switzerland // Staying at 3100 Kulmhotel Gornergrat - the highest hotel in the Swiss Alps!

Join me as I travel to Zermatt, Switzerland! Part 3 of my Switzerland series.
This vlog starts in Kandersteg, Switzerland where we put our car onto a train that tunnels through a mountain. We end up in Zermatt and take the Gornergrat Railway up to 3100 Kulmhotel Gornergrat - the highest hotel in the Swiss Alps! Zermatt Tourism hooked us up with a two night stay and railway tickets to explore the area. We also hike to Riffelsee, a beautiful lake with stunning reflection of the Matterhorn. The views in this vlog are some of the most epic that I've ever seen. I can't wait to share them with you!

Thanks for the great footage. Did you find out anything about tours of the observatory, the "Stellarium"? It seems they make reservations only for groups of 10 or more, but I can't tell if there are also waiting lists from which they allow 10 at a time, or if you must reserve in advance with 10, as with a school group? The website is not helpful.

Good stuff here, Nina! We hope to be there the first week of September. Surprised you used a drone there, but am interested (and didn't see) what drone you used for the footage? Wind and elevation didn't pose an issue for you? Thanks!
