    Alyssa! Thank you for all of these videos. I'm in my third year of acupuncture school and so nervous about what to do after graduating, but you are definitely putting my mind to ease. Would you recommend some resources for building a successful practice? Like courses you have found useful, or books? And thank you again, you're the best resource I've found so far!

    I am 42. Looking for career change. Working 12 years in my other career, I have really learned my likes and dislikes. I like this area of study. Potentially owning a practice, helping others etc.... Do you think it is too late to go into this field? I already have a 4 year bachelor's degree.

      Not too late at all!! All different age rages go into practice and often second or third careers. If it's in your heart... do it.

    I am researching a graduate degree in TCM (I have even shadowed a few practitioners) and I was wondering if you have an opinion on getting a Masters vs Doctorate? I have found that some schools even offer a combined program to get both at once. I am leaning towards a Doc but of course the Masters is less of a financial burden. As someone who is about to finally pay down their undergrad, adding even more student debt is not the most appealing ha. Thanks for your time!

    • @AlyssaDazetLAc
      @AlyssaDazetLAc  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Janine I’m glad you asked. I feel doctorates are 100% not necessary for success. And I know this because I don’t have one, nor do the majority of the tons and tons and tons of acupuncturists in my programs that I’ve coached to success either. Now if you have a specific interest in a doctorate program due to the topic, great! Go for it. But do not do a doctorate program simply because you think you need it in order to succeed. Because that is completely not necessary.

      @@AlyssaDazetLAc Do you also mentor for those overseas? I am in Australia, though I often travel to Seattle/Bellingham WA to visit my sister. I am graduating in 5 months, and I really could use some in person mentoring to go over needling techniques.
