Thanks Ericson! I'm planning on it. The 16570 Polar was my first Rolex purchase and I'm waiting until I feel more comfortable with my format before making a video on my favorite watch in the collection.
@@ChaoTime101 totally understood. Subscribed and waiting for it ;) I’m on the fence between polar and black. Looking forward to your insights if you have any between the two.
@@alas26 here's a preview! I like them both. I liked the polar more in pictures, but when I saw the black in person for the first time I liked it more than I thought I would. My local shop eventually had them both at the same time and I was able to look at them side by side. I like the black surround on the hour markers on the white dial though, and the white dial has a bit more presence and elegance. That's how I ended up choosing. Thanks for the sub! I really appreciate it.
@@alas26 oh, and I almost forgot. Watch buying decisions are often relative and in the context of the collection. I want the explorer from this review as well. So I got the polar because I intend to have both and I wanted a white dial to go with the black dial.
You will bang it, scratch it and drop it, but that's okay. It's a Rolex. This one embodies travels up to Mt. Everest, I'm sure it can handle your trips to the grocery store. Buy it and enjoy it
Great review and format! 👍
Thanks! Hope you enjoy more content!
Nice video, liked your score matrix. Wish you ever success with your channel
Thanks! I wanted to provide something a little more objective than what I was seeing on TH-cam. Glad you enjoyed it!
If you love the watch and can afford it, (Now that prices for this piece have gone nuts) buy it, wear it and enjoy it. Life is too short not to...!!!
I think the term affordable can mean many things. I have the money, but cannot afford it! Lol.
I like your metrics! Please review an explorer II (16550 or 16570) :)

No doubt the watch could handle it. It's me that I'm worried about! I'll be getting it one though. Thanks for watching!
just wear the watch and dont live your life in fear
True, the things you own end up owning you. Thanks!
