- Proxima Midnight is here, and the ability to dump 7 Power for free with her feels awesome. It feels even more awesome when you copy her and other cards with Moon Girl to dump more power for free!
Decklist: snap.untapped....
Power Estimate: This deck felt like a solid first pass at a Moon Girl Discard build, and Proxima Midnight felt good in that package. I had a 60% win rate through my first 10 games, so I'm curious to see if that holds up with more data, or can even be improved with some refinements. It's probably safer to put Proxima Midnight in a more traditional Discard deck, but this could be a fun and surprising alternative if perfected.

You know it's sad when a discard deck has moon in it's title and moon knight's not even good enough to make the deck
I wanted to put both in, but it just didn't fit, I'm gonna do a Moon Knight deck tomorrow probably.

PS: You should've played more Collector over discard stuff in some plays, he'd scale better than Miek in this particular deck. But I'm "stealing" your idea, looked very fun having 30+ power plays sometimes.

6:35 sunspot doesn't get the energy because it applies when the next turn starts. So from round 5 to 6 at the start of round 6 it gives you the base max energy of 6 while corvis adds to that number increasing the max.
Woulda been funny if sunspot did gain like 50 energy
Maybe this synergy should be added reworking sunspot, maybe a 4/3 that gains 4 power per every energy not used at the end of the turn
No 4 power scaling with little drawback has already proven to be broken. @@notbelievingstillcontinuing

Have you heard the legend of 'Corvus the Discarder' and 'Proxima the Discarded'? It's not a tale the Second Dinner would tell you.
Once upon a time, Discard was forgotten. But then came Corvus Glaive. He and his buddy Electro teamed up to discard big bodacious cards. But soon after arrived Proxima Midnight. Once Corvus *discarded* her, he could never stop. Sometimes he would accidentally discard Hela and that would make Proxima angry. But Corvus was always sorry for that. He becomes too high on energy everytime he visits Kama-Taj with Electro. So he would be unable to differentiate between Hela and Proxima since they both have thorn-like helmets and both have *Discardable Features* . But Proxima loves him as much as he loves her. So she forgave his past mistakes. Corvus loves *discarding* Proxima and Proxima loves being discarded by Corvus. This power couple *discarded* all over marvel snap. They discarded on the faces of Thanos meta-slaves, making them cry like toddlers. They even *discarded* on famous snap content creators. They brought new life to the *Discard* genre. They *discarded* so hard that even Morbius said, "It's discardin' time." They became the new and true power couple of marvel. Everyone was in awe of their *discarding* capabilities.

Ok this is the very idea I had when I first saw Proxima. Haven’t looked at the list yet but I hope Daken is in there
i tried this list with collection friendly cards since i didn't have 4 of them and it has worked out pretty well so far. I changed the miek for colleen wing to discard more swarms. Replaced Daken with gambit then replaced hell cow with dracula then glaive with apacolypse. then blade with sif for apacolypse discard really didn't like blade because i never wanted to discard in first 2 turns by turn 3 i know if i want to discard swarm or apocylypse. really fun deck even with these cards definitely advise experimenting to a playstyle you like.

This is the first time I "made up" a deck just flipping around the collection and saw the same one played here. Obviously I'm not taking credit lol. We named them different things though. Mine is 'MOON Spells Bad Discard' 😄😄

Liking Prox so far. Just cooking, taking out Daken and Swarm and replace with Apoc and Drac, doubling up Drac with Apoc in hand can be pretty good, I guess losing the Swarm changes how big collector can get, but idk whats better

So I used my key and got Corvus Glaive… again. Though he wasn’t even one of the cards in the line up. So mad. 4 keys later and no proxima.

I think Corvus's +1 max energy means you get an additional energy at the start of turn, but you don't get energy on the turn you play him, so Sunspot didn't get a huge buff.
