Regis, hit Infinite today on an 8 cube win w Sera Control against the Wong/Hazmat/Surfer deck. Stole their Surfer with Baron, so they went for the big Hazmat combo. Hit em with the turn 7 Enchantress to shut off their Cage and played my own, plus a Hazmat just to top it off.
I’ve been running this deck all day, but I switched Lizard for Shadow King. Definitely caught lots of people by surprise and it only negatively affects Nebula
To anyone like me who does not have Cull Obsidian but still wants to play this deck, I've had great success with a list replacing Lizard and Cull Obsidian with Armor and Atuma. Armor is in general good in this deck as it shuts down Shang Chi in at least 1 lane, Atuma can be played alongside Armor or alone in a lane and force a lot of power out of the opponent to surpass it's power output, while you play huge dudes in other lanes and easily win those instead.
I remember thinking about how in general, crazy abilities were better than plain big stats in this game. And built essentially a proto-shuri/red skull deck (I think shuri was actually out already, but idt Sauron was). Anyways, fell in love with just slammin big dudes that day. I ran your Big Dumb Idiots deck for awhile too, so this list really excites me. Just a shame I don't have either of the new cards :\ might still try it out with Blob and Caiera
You should replace one your 1 drops with Zero. And Zero play on turn 1 into Lizard/Maximus on turn 2 is just too good of a play too pass up in this type of deck.
Took out nebula and added armor to this deck. First game I played ran into sera tech deck that played enchantress on my armor lane and shang plus grand master lmao. Peak marvel snap moment. They can in fact shang chi you everywhere 😂

Have a similar thought process style deck I have been killing with. Kind of combines the power of zoo/mocking bird with tons of disruption with yondu/cable/zemo/gladiator. Use the squirrels and to bring out mockingbird along with zemo, red hulk just a bit stick, blue marvel and iron lad as well to just spread power easily, only have one Shang chi target in red hulk, deck doesn’t have any natural counters outside of maybe just destroy since you don’t want to use gladiator/zemo against that but close to a 59% win rate post infinite over about 75 games.

is it REALLY necessary to have red hulk and cull obsidian for this to work? idk it seems like you can replace them with war machine and infinaut or just a good old hulk...

I had a similar strategy with this but with Sauron to utilize Typhoid and Ebony but Zemo and Crossbones sounds really fun

I think probably too situational, only rarely will that curve line up. I like just having big boys early to open Crossbones priority.
