Regis bro i love you man please don't stop making these crazy decks, everytime i feel I'm getting bored with SNAP you come up with fun ideas/decks that just ignites my love for the game back. Yesterday i had blast playing your Not Loki deck and imma take this one for a spin to today. keep going man don't stop.
There are 3 cards you will see the Streamers and Pros use in 80% of their decks. Nico, Jeff, and Alioth. Which means the majority of us who don't or didn't get those cards will never be able to play them. That said, there is one card you could use instead of Alioth in this deck to varying degrees of success. Knull. After Galactus destroys everything, Knull would then have the combined power of everything that died.
I appreciate that you don't play with variants in your videos, Regis. While I don't mind other content creators who show off their Golden Kirby Crackle splits, I will admit to feeling envious, which leads me to buying gold when I otherwise wouldn't have. I don't feel that pressure when I watch your videos. It's just one of the many reasons that I tune in for each upload.
I didnt have martyr but i replaced her with Cannonball! So on turn 6, if you dont have priority with Alioth, Cannonball will destroy that highest power enemy card AND give 8 power. Cruel indeed when the combo works!
I also have a surprise Galactus deck -- called Galactic Inquisition, of course -- but it's a different surprise. It's built around playing Magick T3/T4, then dropping Galactus T6. Maybe with a Forge buff, and especially if I can get a Wave out T5 and do Forge + Galactus on the same T6 for a full surprise. (It's also got other discounts, but since the Forge nerf they don't really help much anymore.) The rest of the cards are very much Galactus-loving cards (goblins and forced moves) but as long as they think there will be 7 turns, they don't pile up as much. It's very fun to pull it off and go, "Did you forget Marvel Snap is a *six* turn game? Looks like I win after all" 😂
If you had decided to play the turn 2 Galactus, you could have actually gotten decently big with Angela, Elsa, Kitty. Granted, you only had the Angela & Kitty in hand, and couldn't have known you'd draw Elsa next turn. But if you had just went "screw it, let's see what happens," you would have gotten up to 26 total there. Not too shabby.
Sadly I don't have like half these cards. Probably the biggest issue with any fun new card I get, any "good" deck is filled with cards I won't have for a long while.
I've fought someone kinda like this deck yesterday. I was suprised on the last play and I get the W because I played The Leader on the same lane copying his Galactus. I thought he was going to play Blue Marvel 😂
what is the 'x-men buff', I've never seen that before. Is it true that if you have other cards in the same group from the comics, they get buffed? Didn't know that happened?

Think she exists here mainly as a way to swing priority. Anything else that does that (lots of power for low cost) would work, even if not 1 cost. Lizard is kinda spicy because it's both power efficient, and encourages the opponent to play there instead of maybe where you want to Galactus
Since she's there to gain priority you can put down any other cheap big card. However, it has to be one you can control, so no Titania, and no Ebony Maw since it's too restrictive. As Ethan suggested Lizard - or Maximus are probably the two best efficient stats for cost cards who can fit that role.

I'm always adding Galactus to random decks just for the surprise. So worth it when catching them off guard.

I did this a while back in a "Cerebro 3" deck. Loved people mad facing my Cerebro when Galactus revealed

If you're contesting two stacked locations, then on turn 6 you can play Alioth with priority, or Galactus without for a chance to sneak the win.
I went against someone with this deck earlier! Lmao. Their Galactus didn’t activate when I Viper’d my Electro to their side
So, watched the video and immediately run into 2x "Surprise" Galactus decks in a row.
