Thank you for singing this song! Every time I hear it I am reminded of how much I loved your singing! No one can sing this better 🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️❤️🙏🙏than Johnny Cash.
Great singing and with the Statler Bros, as backup this is wonderful.
This was before they went out on their own. If you haven't done so find a video or recording of their Tribute to Johnny in their song "We Got Paid By Cash".
My Williams, Arizona Jr. High band took home 1st place at state playing The Battle Hymn Of The Republic, 1975.
Wow, just wow - Johnny could both tell AND sing a story!
As I was battling 2 kinds of CANCER this was my song of strength.
wow, for me the best performance ever... greetings from the Czech Republic...
All of his songs are amazing. He was so good live.
CZGervais This is a moving song and your comment also
Rest in Peace Mr Johnny Cash
I stand when I hear this. I stand in the glory of Jesus Christ. God bless Johnny Cash, I look foward to meeting up with him in the promised land.
I remember watching this on TV here in Australia in '69. I was 14. Every Sunday arvo on ABC TV I would watch The Johnny Cash Sow. His show introduced me to the musicians I would follow for the next almost 50 years.....Dylan, Kristofferson, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Neil Young, etc, etc, etc.
Love it. Thank you Jesus, for forgiving us our sins. All we have to do is ask. Amen, and Amen
Love the way Johnny Cash sang.
We will never forget him. Never.
What a voice that will never be equalled
Did anyone recognize the male quartet? Those are the Statler Brothers. This a thoroughly awesome rendition of this song.
Those are my hometown boys singing there. Of course I recognize them. :)
2019, and some of us still love America.
Sir Bader
Yes. And some of us still love the truth too.
jbond5150 He said LOVE America, not HATE it, like the Democrat/Marxist Party does. Wise up, traitor.
@@solrosenberg3803 If you think the Democrats are Marxists, you don't know what Marxism is, and you're most likely politically uneducated, y'know like most Conservatives.
jbond5150 You’re a traitor to the uniform you supposedly wore. Are you sure you’re not a Stolen Valor coward? You sure sound like it.
Griffin The Democrat Party has become the Marxist Party. You’re either blind, deaf, dumb, or all three. Wake up, troglodyte, you are voting for your own demise when you vote for the Democrat/Marxist Party. Wise up.
My father served in the 5th marines in the South Pacific during the 2nd. World war. He never would talk about it. Many years after he died. I saw a mini-series The Pacific. Now I understand why he didn't say much. He only had a few stories, but they were just the very little fun times. RIP Dad.
Pure class. Wonderful rendition of a powerful song. 🎶☺️❤️
I LOVEEEE Waylon, Merle, George Jones, Willie, all of them. But it's performances like this that makes Johnny Cash my favorite. He was special.
they were all special. when the last one dies, No One Will Fill Their Shoes.
+Buddy Pickle RIP good country music
+Buddy Pickle Amen to that buddy, cash and Waylon were my favorites, but I love all of them. The only one I could see becoming as great as any of the outlaws is Sturgill Simpson, he's special.
Evan L May god bless them all.

When Johnny Cash sang a song he always sang I heartfelt and that is what him so great. I have to say what fantastic backing sings the great man had here though, I m sure I could have sang this song and they would have made me sound good, well maybe reasonable. One of the great video clips of all time, hank you Mike Adams for uploading it. Oh God, how Johnny is missed.
"He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are store; He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword; His truth is marching on." Oh, yes, we know Who will win the final battle. Hallelujah!

I love this song and I loved Johnny Cash !!! God Bless America !
A great man singing a great song.
No current performers have the guts to perform this song or express these beliefs.
As an Australian this is one of the greatest songs ever, and unfortunately in both America and Australia the mob are taking over.
@@dropbear6740 don't give up hope. God isn't done with our respective nations just yet, friend. The enemy and his agents will NOT have their way but will have a GIANT bill to pay back starting next year for the ground they illegally stole.
That is a BS comment. Almost all do. You just may not agree with them. lol. Oh.. I get it - it has to be a Christian belief... It irritates me when people grandstand their beliefs with this attitude. To me, Christianity is between you and your Lord, and mine is not between you and my Lord and me. In the end we are all judged - hoping he looks on us both favorably though.
@@dropbear6740 What are we talking about ... the mob on Wall Street? In the richest country in the world - 35% of the wealth is concentrated in about 1% of the people and the bottom 50% have about 1.5% of the wealth...10.6% experience food insecurity, as in they don't know where their next meal is coming from and that number grows to 13.6% when there are kids in the home.... I could go on and on but you wonder why there are mobs forming? There are homeless everywhere while people are arguing about who has the biggest house and buying glamour houses at an ever increasing rate... If you are wondering why mobs are forming Look to the 1% that were in France in 1781 if you have any questions. The mob is right - organized legal crime is what it is.
Now, Johnny, you see the Lord...…..R.I.P. - and thank you, that you had life on earth….
“He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored...” one of the most elegant and beautiful lines I’ve ever heard
This is absolutely beautiful. Bless the great American who is Johnny Cash. RIP, good sir.
I'm not a Johnny Cash fan, but this song is for the ages...
More than half of the country do not know of the sacrifice that the heroes gave us. The rest of us shall never forget them.
The greatest rendition of the greatest song ever written!❤
He can turn any song into gold
This should be the US national anthem.
They're both great!
it was the anthem of the north for most the civil war
Thinking about the same thing majority people don't even know the national anthem written by Francis Scott Keyes abroad a brattish ship bombing Ft McHenry during the War of 1812. This songs means more to the Republic and Patriots.
Morpheus Oak Yessir, the song has such an incredible story behind it.
Lord Birdwood Agreed
I'm not a man of faith but God Bless America :*)
anarcho-autism You will be
Look up John 3:16 in the Bible. May you come to know the Lord yourself. God bless you.
Me neither. You don't have to religious to find this song awesome.
tripp kuhne see nelson grabers post above!
gfg 826 reading the Bible is what causes a shit ton of people to be Atheists lol, me included.
This is the best rendition of this beautiful old song that I have ever heard.

God bless all men and women of our military in the past, today and the future.
