I don’t think they are op at all, nobody is going to be consistent in hitting people with so much movement and everything in the game. They are definitely super fun to use though.
the other problem is even a medium with AK will outdps you after 180 because how slow the knives travel and throw.

@@ramsaybolton9151That’s why they’re a light weight weapon. They’re meant to be used with heavy movement. You’ll lose if you’re just trynna out gun anyone else with knives. You’re just using them wrong
This game is pretty well balanced tbh. Every game I play there’s someone going off with a different weapon
That's what I think about a lot actually. You'll always see a team with dif weapons and sets but still eat up everyone
That’s what worries me about all these people crying about the heavy shotgun or the light shotgun! Yes those are easier to use, but people just need to learn other weapons! The other weapons can be just as good if used correctly, they just offer different play styles!

the steady damage, without ever needing to reload of just spamming the lights out too, can be used to hold corridors or doorways
normal weapons the downside of pre firing is, using up ammo and having to reload. with the throwing knives, you should be throwing CONSTANTLY (unless you don't want people to know where you are)
the cloak ability lets you start the heavy through then go invisible to throw while invisible

Some games I have destroyed with them but the heavy/hard throw can take to long. I tend to use them for longer throws since they don’t drop off or if I have the drop on an enemy. For me personally I’ve found that if I rush a single or two player as long as I keep moving unpredictable I come out on top a lot because it shakes them. I like that(at least on console controllers) you can just hold the throw button down and it keeps a fast combo going the whole time. Only drawback is that I can’t dash or slide while holding down throw.
I run it with grappling hook but I’m sure the other specs would work great too depending on how you play. For gadgets I like Pyro, frag and vanishing bombs just incase I need to escape. The grappling hook is nice for getaways but I like to throw a few knives and then grapple forward past people to try to confuse them and sometimes it gets me free hits from behind people. I’m very aggressive in shooters and love to use movement tools for offense.
if the charge on the secondary fire was just a couple miliseconds fater it would b SO much more useful lmao. i always die right before throwing the last knife for the kill
If u are struggling aiming make the crosshair dot larger it helps

You should've just gone into practice mode to explain the first bit. That way you wouldn't be rushing and have all the extra audio in the background. Great gameplay though 👌

The heavy attack needs to be slightly faster and the basic too way too slow
for bodyshot damage the knives have the slowest TTK in the game
Is Q the best keybind for dash? cuz its pretty hard to dash left cuz of the weird finger position. What do you think is the best bind for the dash?
i do my thumb mouse button, i have it always resting there and dont even need to change up my hand placement on the mouse.

I like using alt for dash, since your thumb doesn't actually do much for the most part

Skill issue. Not even joking, once you use them enough, you'll learn how to aim in the air properly.

It's impossible to hit far targets from the ground, but from the air it's possible if you arc it right.
I'm not sure what this bloom you describe is.

The option for center dot is probably turned off for you, it’s towards the bottom of gameplay setting

I have mine. In the beta the only rewards you got to keep were the ones with bold letters above them that said permanent in the battle pass. As far as I’m aware it was like 4-6 things total.

ive been running them with cloaking idk if its cheesy but you can press right click and insta cloak to throw your precision attack in stealth
this x100. Feel the whole point of knives is stealth, because it doesn't give away your position. With cloak, it's prob a lot better.

the knifes as of now are trash, heres my idea for a rework of them
left click throws two knifes with the same damage as of now, but both fire in a much smaller interval like the current right click, but with the same speed as left click, when both knifes hit the target they apply a bleeding effect making it impossible for the enemy to heal for a duration of 5 or 10 seconds. maybe a little damage over time but maybe thats too much
right click fires like a shotgun, throwing 3 knifes in a arc making it possible to hit multiple targets, making it possible to fight more than 1 person at a time, it incentivizes you to come real close so all the knifes hit the same person
i think its pretty good, it would fill a niche for a more hit and run style the light class kinda doesn't really have at the moment with a ranged weapon
