Love DJcrawlers tires and insert. For me, the inserts are larger and softer than the injora ones. When you need big tires and grip, DJcrawlers is more impossible to beat. Great review 👍
All the trucks I've built and spent a fortune on I still use my T hunter a lot , a few upgrades with some weight on the axles and it's a brilliant rtr truck , even out the box I was very impressed with it , I bought it when they first came out and I haven't broken anything , and the are an incredible price right now ,
Stay safe mate 🇬🇧
I have several different ones and love them. DJ Crawlers has some great products.
I agree with the other comments.
74mm is too big for 1/24.
Those tires look great, just too big.
I do like 1.2 wheels on big tires, as i think 1.0 wheels with big tires look a little off and suffer on sidehill.
But 74mm?... better on a larger 1/18.
they look great...1.3 is a funny size as getting almost to big for our 18/24th scales especially with most having portal axles, and wish someone did a 1.55 silicon insert for our UTB18'S.
Amen!
Love the different versions of the inserts that DJ made, more options are a good thing
Those tires on the katana look great they dont look to big i mean back in the 80s when us old timers were wheeling we ran 40 and 44 ground Hawgs and Gateway monster mudders on our rigs and ran them around town too so i mean it looks about like you running a lifted jeep with big tires but definitely not too big for that katona but it would be a little too big in my opinion for 24 th scale but that's just my opinion.. LOL
Those bronze rims are fireee
Wheels and tires love them rigs looked awesome 🔥😎👍
They look absolutely amazing brotha love them rigs that T-hunter looks awesome 🙌
Love your channel. Your tire reviews and build videos are my favorite! Thanks! I have one question: Would it be bad to put a silicone insert into the Dj crawler 72mm pins, and if it works, which type soft or firm? I thought maybe the side wall would be bad with the silicone? Thanks for your channel!
I would try the soft inserts on the pins. It's not a bad idea at all, I will most likely do the same with mine!
Thanks alot what wheels do you have on the 68mm that is on the slayer build? Thanks, Adam!
Not the pro version.
Hi
Use water with a little bit of soap. It saves your day.
Kind regards
Sascha
Hey great video any recommendations for axles for Trx4m with the injora Lcg bronco chassis?
djcrawler inserts or injora inserts? i have the injora 70mm swamp claw and the need silicone inserts.
Thats so dope!!! They look amazing but not like they belong on a 1/24 scaler xD more like mini capra scale! If they keep going like that theyre soon gonna produce 1/10 tires by accident
Would you rather get the comp chassis or a pair of super 8s first? (upgrading from stock axles with a set of +5mm hex adapter and a stock chassis)
May be a silly question but you’re unable to use the 1.0 wheels on the 1.3 tires can you 😅
Do you think the 68mm would be a good fit on the ax24?
They would rub like crazy without longer shocks or relocated shocks
i wish u got the silver dj crawler rims
Dj crawler needs to make 62mm tires 🙏🏼
Agreed
When are we going to start slapping 1.5 inch wheels and tires on our 1/24
What 1.3 tire is best Injora pins, cling ons or the dj’s you put on the katana?
I think the cling ons are the best 1.3 tires on the market right now
Just a suggestion: Compare tires to stock tires and foams since a lot of us will be upgrading from a stock setup to something like a dual stage foam or 3d insert.
For example: I have the stock katana tires and want to know how they compare to these. Tanks!
Any aftermarket tire will be better than those stock tires. I hate all of my RTR crawlers, as soon as I upgrade wheels and tires I fall in love.
An we mix and match with longer drive shafts?
Again love your work I would probably buy a used car from you your that good
Thanks for helping.
I am still having issues with the drive shaft. Thinking the grip from these giant tires is too much for the plastic driveshaft after all.
1.3" is perfect for the AE Element 12, at 15.3". Too big for any mini, though.
Maybe you can tell them to start supplying the European market.. 😢
So which is better?
DJ Crawler 1.3s
or
Injora 1.3s
Wish they made 2.2 tires
the only tires i wanna see r the other new dj crawler tires u showed for 5 seconds
Try to isolate the mic input from all that plastic bag noise. That is really annoying.
👍👍👍!
Try putting a trx4m from driveshaft on your katana. That's what I did and works better.
Interesting! I will try that
DJ Crawler has made a string of decisions that make no sense. I can't see their company building a great reputation over the long haul because they make all these production mistakes and then keep selling their mistake products instead of pulling them off the market. Those purple inserts are hockey pucks. Nobody will be happy to have paid for them unless they're using them on an RC dump truck or something. And the 74mm tires.... Nobody wants tires that big. They just rub and make vehicles fall over. The only tread pattern they ever made that's super realistic and they do them 74mm. It's just bizarre.
I agree about the purple inserts, but disagree with the tire size remark, these 74's are awesome on my Evo Pro, they don't even rub, on a 1/24 though, yeah pointless for a performance oriented crawler build.
😂😂😂😂😂
Stupid comment, everybody wants these tires! I just ordered a set myself, you sound like you drive a prius and eat tofu. 😂😂
First like
like them, but its getting to that pointless spot to where the 1/18 1/24 rigs are going to look like a mini emaxxs........
Too big to be practical on most small scale trucks for sure
Really think these are aimed at 18th scale rigs. Just look entirely too big and out of place on a 24th scale even the cage bodies it just doesn’t look right. Hoping they come out with better sizes than these
Even on 1/18 they're huge. 74mm is like UTB18 territory. The Katana is an 1/18 scale and these tires are massive on there
@@CapeCrawlers yeah I can’t agree more. there’s no way I can fit them on an ascent 18 without hacking the body up. Awesome tires though and glad to see more silicone options hitting the market. And appreciate the videos too
