this is true, but BB players have found ways to play around it a bit and unless Buggy can have multiple 10c Buggys in their hand by their 5 and 7 don turn, it's not as overpowering as you might think. I do think Buggy has a good MU against him tho
@@FudelioTCG that’s a lot of resource investment and setup to remove for BB though. Even if he does get removed, you force BB into an awkward position by killing his hand quicker.
Im silently waiting for green to become turbo busted one day, having so many good boss cards and now two great mid game cards in smoker and tashigi, just a waiting game now Definitely excited to see how the supernova leaders do over OP10, bonney, kid and law look like theyre in good spots over all lol
Long may we wait brother, green's identity revolving around resting and restanding has felt fairly underwhelming compared to what other decks (**cough cough** Lucci) get to do for a fraction of the cost. I'm all for green getting better with each set, but fundamentally it feels like part of the issue still is cost to reward ratio. Until the introduction of 5c Issho, most Green On Play effects only rested (or interacted with) 4c or less which feels quite irrelevant for most games.
bro i feel this on a molecular level. Oden just needs one ST deck like Doffy got to become very, very good >: ) yeah op10 is going to shake things up a bit, can't wait to see what happens!
ithink yg law is ganna start topping soon they have nto figured the deck out yet blackbeard topped nothing only untill end of op09 and now tis so called best deck
YG Law already topped! He got top 16 at one of the Tokyo CS this past weekend. I agree though, he needs some time to learn and build before he will fully shine. BB was similar, where he was winning and topping some stuff right away, but became stronger later on. We didn’t have any big regionals in Japan at the start of OP9, but BB was winning some unofficial events and topping other things right away.
Yeah. Most people have kept 5c Ace in OP10 but are moving back to a more red hair pirate-centered build with Uta searcher and the new divine departure event. But it’s very similar to the op9 build
I don’t know how you have nami beating shanks. I haven’t lost a single match against nami in a long time and shanks smacks her up. I had one nami get down to around 4 cards on my last attack just trying to deck out but couldn’t do it. Most nami matches they don’t even get under 20 cards. To be fair though somehow I end up playing against a lot of nami at locals and on the sim. I don’t consider her a threat especially against my red decks. I also run the 2c sanji and get value out of my life cards against her. I don’t know what other people are running in shanks.
2c Sanji is a good tech to help against decks like enel and nami for sure. I think bcus Shanks struggles to play more than 1 body per turn, it makes it hard for him to win against her. We saw this on a CS recently where Shanks lost to Nami. It's very similar to the Enel MU imo, where even if you have big bodies to play, Nami can normally outlast and when she has 8-10 don up each turn, just plays events to mill out. Most ppl would agree that Shanks has a losing MU to Nami, it's not just me.
@ I hear ya, I was just curious because that hasn’t been my experience at all. It makes sense though. Nami has some new blockers and stuff that I could see being annoying too with the trash off deck on ko. I just don’t consider her a struggle deck. I usually have bad luck against decks like katakuri. My opponent always seems to see everything plus multiple triggers on top of back to back 0cost last life 😂 I could just be super lucky playing my nami matches in that same respect.
@@OdenBoilTcG yeah and i do think that if the Shanks player knows the MU it's not too bad, but i do think it's at least slightly favored for Nami. I think Katakuri actually has a good MU into Shanks cus of triggers, being able to swing 7k with leader, and 10c Mom life trashing. So you're not alone with that one.
@ yeah the extra 1k on the leader swings really hurt especially if you’re not seeing enough counter. The other deck that’s wild especially if they see back to back karasu is bello betty.
@@OdenBoilTcG yeah katakuri gets extra value that Shanks can't normally keep up with bcus he loses value from his leader effect, almost making him a vanilla leader in that MU. I can def see that for Belo Betty too. If they get enough Karasu on board, they can beat anything XD
Buggy punishes Blackbeard hard for using leader ability. Oh, no on-plays? Here’s a 12k on don 5.

yeah for sure. if BB doesnt set up and have the resources to KO Buggy's char from 5 don onwards it can be rough for him for sure

cost to reward ratio def the biggest drawback, i agree.
But we're slowly getting there. New 5c Smoker is insanely strong as a generic green card
Currently buying Lim stock as we speak!
my man >: )

Lets go!
let's cook bro!
We'll change this tier list by the time i make a new video XD
Oh wow red Sanji is not even listed. Is he that bad?
I don't think he's bad per se, but he hasn't shown up much, so I can't really consider him for the meta atm
Is this the "Tempo" shanks we've been seeing with Marco, Ace etc.?

my dude there was a purple/red kid for op10 event by bandai that just got 1st
ooh, nice >:)
i dont think i've seen it so i'll have to check that out!
Damn where is sanji ??
I think Sanji has rly struggled to show any results in the East, so I don't have him in this list

Agree
I'm working on it!!!
