Yeah I think Betty is strong for sure but like you said Doffy and black can be tough so that makes it hard to put her up any higher. Def a bit of a sleeper pick tho

Thanks! Love the Samurai tech, that’s one of my fav cards haha so I’ll have to try that out. I’ve seen ppl play 8c Kata before and honestly I like the idea of him in the deck. I think if you don’t wanna go for the 8c Kid play, Kata could do work

A lot of even MUs across the board depending on how you tech your deck. I think the main thing keeping him from being closer to tier 1 is it’s hard to tech for doffy and Teach at the same time and I think he has a slightly losing MU against doffy even with kid so you have to keep that in mind as well

If you only have one cavendish I’d try and make due with stuff like Drake and restand law and 5c Bonney but unfortunately Cavendish is very integral to the deck T_T

I do use Bonney searcher 👍🏼

Meta isn't KO heavy enough to warrant playing it, but it's an option I think

Luffy is good tech option if you’re facing a lot of black but the current meta has a lot of removal based on power and bounce/bottom decking atm so I don’t think he’s very strong

I don’t hate that tbh, I was more so just going off of more current showings for the leaders in OP10 and outside of one topping at the Wave 2 CS I don’t think Shanks has done well in big tournaments overall. Shanks could be T1.5 tho, just didn’t feel right for me at the time

I just meant it’s a pretty straightforward deck that plays on curve like Shanks does. I still think you can add variety and flex spots into it, but the core cards of 7c Law and 8c Kid do restrict it a bit. Still can be very fun to play tho and is strong💪🏼 I love all the Kid leaders, so no hate from me 😌

You know what maybe I should have at least put Uta in T3 for her Asia top a little while ago. Sometimes there are just leaders that I forget about so I’m sry about that😅

You could probably argue shanks for tier 1.5 if you wanted, he just hasn’t been showing up too much in the past couple weeks

I thought about putting him at tier 3 cus I like Foxy and think he’s a Gigachad, but he just hasn’t been able to put any results for the past month or so and has been pretty non existent in OP10. So for those reasons I left him off this time.

@@FudelioTCG Understandable! I think he'll return with a bit more usage after EB02. The Bigbun + the new 4C 6K vanilla combo is surprisingly a nice improvement.

I still don’t think the MU is favored for Enel. A lot of the tech against BB just caught ppl off guard but hasn’t been as consistent once BB players know what to expect EB02 might change that though.

Even with a slightly unfavored Teach match-up, having a greatly favored match-up into the 2 BDIF (Shanks and Doffy) is huge imo. Enel is still tier 2 at minimum for me.

@@lithium457 I disagree, it's not a bad matchup is even/favorable. But it depends. You need to run 2-3 pudding and see at least 1 gravity. But you hit them with 2 gravity and they are dead if you have pudding in hand

@@lithium457 You don't play Boa as nearly the same as Doffy. Boa is control tempo, doffy is just aggro and doesn't play even control events too much. You have a lot of removal as Boa

I’ve been playing against friends using Reiju lately and while it helps with consistency, there are still issues and the actual power of the deck still struggles against a lot of MU

Thanks! Some tips I have would be to not focus on his char on board and mostly just swing at life. Hody is the strongest card against Usopp bcus he can’t block and use leader eff or recycle with Franky bcus it’s rested. 5c Bonney helps throw off their curve if they take first from you too. The hard part about facing Usopp is mostly trying to figure out what they’re running in their build, so always watch out for red roc, Moria, 7c Luffy and King Kong Gun until you know what they’re running/not running.

I think if you took a more mid-tempo approach like the old navy/donquixote builds it might work. Ryuma is a 4c so you can grab him off of it too, so at least there's a shot, cus she also lives and dies by just blindly drawing into her other top end T_T

yeah if you're running top end that isnt whitebeard pirates like 8c Ray or Roger, then it could be really strong : )
