Just to watch them grow everyday, even in the winter time it gives me so much joy and inspiration to keep on trying. I am suffering from depression and suicidal thoughts almost ten years now, startet collection special plants now for just a year now and I’m doing better every day. Kisses from Germany 😘

Honestly just looking at my plants and seeing them continue to put out leaves despite my neglect. It makes me just wonder how they can want to live so bad?! With depression they have been a great medicine to my recovery they help reduce suicidal thoughts for me just by helping me to realize “hey give yourself some sun and water and maybe you’ll wanna live tomorrow too” because we’re all just giant plants.

I got super into plants when my hedgehog passed away two summers ago (he was 5 years old). I think I needed to fill my void and still take care of something, but I didn’t have the time for another animal because it was my senior year of college. It started with a terrarium of succulents and now I have over 50 plants. They help me feel like I have a purpose, especially when I wasn’t on the right medicine for my mental health (I have treatment resistant major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety, and OCD). I love taking care of them and looking at them. When they grow new leaves it makes me feel so proud because they’re happy. Feel bad because my plant collection is slowly creeping into mine and my brother’s bathroom and my family’s living room...oops 😅

I’m so sorry about your hedgehog! I’ve always wanted to own one. I followed pokey the kedgehog on insta and literally I cried when he passed away :(

Thanks so much Naomi and Ashley. Plants have helped me recover from depression and control my anxiety. I'd love to know any treatments from either of you for bacterial blight on plants- philodendrons. Thanks

Love it! Plants helped me recover from a severe burnout. Taking care of something and seeing it grow was a great experience in that fragile time. Tho now my plants are causing me trauma with their thrips infection!!! Love the dog, love the plants!

Plants have helped me feel more connected to my surroundings and fulfills my desire to nurture something. They keep me mindful and present, while also being excited for the future. It also helps that my dog leaves them alone, so I can love on them both without any worries ☺️

    I’m a simple girl.
No suicidal thoughts, no OCD, no anxiety (which seems to be the new trend since gluten is out),...
Just a plant lover. Boring, I know.

Thank you very much for this video, I found it very interesting to see all these plants, and many of them really rare ones :-)) (Hoya "Krimson Kween" = "Crimson Queen", I suppose ;-)) I don't have any Anthuriums and only the quite common Philodendron scandens, but the Peperomia elongata is one of my favourite plants :-))

Those see through spots are bacteria?! How do you tell the difference between the markings she mentioned and leaf blight?? And then what’s going on with aspirin water?!? Tell me your/her ways.
