😂 same with me when I got married ti my husband I was pregnant with our son and before I could show we need to have a ceremony for family Amd friends bc we already got married before legally everything from my gown and veil to jewelry we’re left to my mother and sisters my brother and his friends and my siblings all helped decorate and peel the music I’m super lucky I have siblings full of love amd closeness every fit and looked great
I'm sure they would let you just take it as is if you insisted, like they do at the sample sale, but it's better to use people who know that exact brand and style. Someone coming in cold not knowing how the dress is constructed might struggle.
God, I hope this woman, tailor/seamstress not only makes hourly but also commission and also a bonus for literally having to drop everything else and customize this dress for this 1 bride. It's a beautiful lace dress and it'll be beautiful on her. But my goodness, that is some pressure to have everything done by the next day.
Often seamstresses that are not affiliated with the bridal salon where the dress was purchased do not want to work on it in case there is a problem. Or like you didn’t buy the dress from us so we don’t want to alter it. She would have to go to a private tailor.
It's usually best for the store that sells the gown to do the alterations since they likely have worked with the dresses before, they will have access to talk to the designer, to have the exact same beading, lace, fabric, etc. Plus, from our experience, the store seamstresses do a great job at a great price. We took my daughter's wedding dress to a non affiliated place and the price was way high, they told us to find the fabric, etc it was just more complicated.
What a refreshing attitude: Mother says "I have opinions but I don't want my opinion to overshadow what she feels comfortable in."
I really loved it! Such a breath of fresh air!!
Such a supportive mum….”I’m adjusting my taste to what SHE likes!”
Beautiful bride & gown!!❤️
I agree I love when her mum said “ I don’t want my opinion to overshadow”
I really wasnt expecting that kiss and bear hug from the bride! Beautiful gown & what a lovely supportive Mum
Me too! I thought, "dang she's excited to be married!"
Can we just talk about how professional *all* of the staff appear here, if this is not scripted.
That may be the best looking groom we've ever seen on the show.....a handsome couple overall.
He's hot
Thinking the same
And sooooo in love! Both!
Love love Ms Kiesha! She's such a grounded, open hearted, calm spirit!
Me too!!
I’m loving this bride’s mom! The dress was perfect for her and on her.
It's possible! I planned and executed a wedding in 10 days. I had a lot of luck with the dress fitting perfectly out of the bag.

It definitely is, especially if you keep it plain and simple.
My dress arrived 5days before the wedding!!!! The only alteration it needed was the hem! I feel ya
I love the older episodes that go more in depth about how the store is run. It was very cool to hear from the seamstresses
Vera is a rockstar--years of experience. Knows IMMEDIATELY what needs to be done
Still love Keisha^^
And the bride’s family was so sweet and supportive^^
Kudos to ALL of the staff that made this happen for bride, Camilla. Very well done, Kleinfelds! Camilla, you looked FAB! All Best Wishes!
What a beautiful bride and what a lovely and supportive mum❤
Keisha's laugh gets me every time! 😅❤
This is the mum we love seeing
Keisha was a great consultant.
Aww. That was like a fairy tale come to life. Such a lucky lovely couple. ❤ tears came to my eyes 😂😊
She is not getting married in 2 days, just leaving country. I bet there are seamstresses in the UK aswell?
Exactly!
Probably some bridal shops
I think I would rather have a seamstress from the store from which I purchased the dress.
I'm sure they would let you just take it as is if you insisted, like they do at the sample sale, but it's better to use people who know that exact brand and style. Someone coming in cold not knowing how the dress is constructed might struggle.
Why is that a question
I love that we got to see the alteration process AND the wedding! Good one!

Agreed. It’s not fair for the bride to rush everyone and stress them out. She should have planned better.
I doubt they still do this now. This episode must be 20 years old now and before the big publicity kleinfeld got from this show
She was beaming on her wedding day and she looked gorgeous in her dress ❤
Beautiful episode!
Finally a naturally beautiful bride.
like they don't have wedding dresses in the UK? Or Europe? Those are nice dresses but London or Paris will have high end gowns that are similar.
Often seamstresses that are not affiliated with the bridal salon where the dress was purchased do not want to work on it in case there is a problem. Or like you didn’t buy the dress from us so we don’t want to alter it. She would have to go to a private tailor.
This brides mom is so lovely
Keisha is a sweet consultant.
why do they have to do any sewing? why can't she take it home to be altered?
Of course we have seamstresses here. They just wanted to charge her more

SHE WAS BEAUTIFUL ❤
Beautiful pick!
What was the budget? This is the first one I've seen with nothing said about price.
The tag said $1999.
I'm surprised she just didn't plan to get it altered back home, but I guess if the staff were able to pull it off, kudos to them
Awesome.
I LOVE consultants Keasha and Lisa! Pretty bride with a pretty name.
Love the mums reaction instead of all the other episodes with opinionated mums and family instead of thinking of what the bride loves
There is absolutely nothing about that dress that she couldn't have found in the UK.
She wouldn't have been on tv tho
@@kittyb275 they have that show with Jo n AL ❤
She wanted the Kleinfeld experience. She got it and was happy. I love that for her!!
you can clearly see her getting emotional about the dress ❤
I can't say what I want to say..I just love the episodes
The Dress she chose was pretty, but dress #1 the one her Mom picked was "bam"!
So lovely. Yall are the best.
I am confused. Didn't Keisha work for Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta??
I image it will be an amazing wedding in England.
Curious why the bride's hair wasn't done for the wedding. They are a stunning couple.
The mom is such a green flag
I thought all the dresses she tried looked alike
Was this video a VHS transfer? 😂 I've never seen such a poor quality video from SYTTD!
Hi
Love family, we have seamstresses in the UK, this typical American drama is unnecessary
This is about 20 years old. -smdh
Takes way more effort to comment than to scroll along.
@@bridgebridgebridge Same to you B.... LOL

Elise is doing her job.
