What a mean family. I hate it when family and friends say cruel things instead of "I don't really think it suits you." You can be honest, but never cruel. The whole family needs to take a good look in the mirror at themselves before telling this beautifully slender woman that it makes her look "hippy" and a "bubble" in the back. I feel when a man is there, then it's HIS preference, not the brides as she's trying to please him. I never understand why brides take so many people, because then there's too many opinions. Well, he’s not gonna be able to run after her and nor is the rest of them!! I know that’s mean but they are so horrible to her. He’s a control freak who was her tutor which says it all for me.
That fiance in the first one was awful - he criticized everything that she put on and he also had nasty things to say about his lovely bride. I know that we only see a glimpse on the couples on this show but he came across and unsupportive and judgmental. She can do better.
Other great traits aside....he was very picky and downright critical and unsupportive. His attitude should at least send a warning flag. My suspicion is he believes everyone is going to look at her and then him and wonder why she's marrying him. I do believe it's his insecurities making him behave in this manner. It's just not acceptable because these things left unaddressed will just fester and ruin what should be a beautiful relationship between the two of them.
