Kenny was always so funny back in the day!! I can't imagine how fun it would've been to work with DP, Keith, Berman, Kenny, Stuart Scott, Rich Eisen & all the other personalities that went through ESPN. Just watching & talking about sports day & night, _now that's_ living the dream
Kenny was one of my favorite ESPN personalities of all time because his sense of humor was so off the cuff. That wry wit can't be taught and sometimes he'd say something that made me do an audio double-take before I started laughing. Glad to see he still hasn't lost his touch after getting Norby'd.
I am a Canadian so we got to see very little of sports center. We had our own version called TSN. Our on air talent was nowhere near your level. I enjoyed Kenny Mayne doing his funny stories on the pre game show. I always thought it would be hard to be clever and funny every Sunday yet he did it be hard to be funny for every Sunday. I would like to see the wiffle ball documentary, buf i have never heard of the sight it is on 😊
Kenny bringing back memories. 👏 Stuart Scott's Booyah and "as cool as the other side of the pillow" were awesome catchphrases but Larry Beil's home run call "aloha means goodbye" is the most underrated.
Think my favorite Kenny call of all time is still when he covered the Little League World Series and a kid hit a walk off home run, "I AM THE KING OF THE LITTLE LEAGUE DIAMOND!! A KEG OF LEMONADE AND PEANUT M&M'S FOR ALL!!!"
Coincidentally I watched a couple of Kenny Mayne appearances on the show yesterday just for kicks. In one of them Dan was talking about what a great arm Kenny had, which ties in for today. I always liked him on SC. His natural nonchalance was a nice fit. I believe it was his home run call that I have adopted all these years. The deadpan "there's a flyball and I don't think it's playable.". He was also the resident expert for horse racing which I liked. Will definitely watch the documentary. I played college baseball and grew up playing wiffle ball. Also cork ball. i was happy when my son took up the game and built a mini ball park in the backyard complete with lights. He has 3 young sons so the tradition will live on. He still has the metal strike zone frame so he's most of the way there.
Seatttles own.Kenny is hilarious The golden age of espn.dan Kenny Stuart Scott Neil Everett Scott van pelt Linda Cohn etc. etc. This is sportscenter commericals were hilarious.

Great interview. Sure miss that ESPN. Will never be the same
So very true.

Love Kenny Mayne! Love Dan and the Danettes as well!
Good old Kenny Mayne. I remember watching him on 2000s Sportscenter videos.
“Thanks for picking me”

ESPN doesn’t know talent when they see it. Kenny one example. Neil Everett is another.
They're too white
John Anderson was another IMO
Nah, they just don't want to pay for talent, after the top 6 or so
Kenny dry humor, he had me rolling when he was on espn.

Yes, it is ... :)

Kenny is best! So smart and funny!
Very much enjoyed Kenny during his Sports Center years. Congratulations, Norby, on a job . . . done. 😏
Update: We still have no f*cking clue what the hell Fubo is or how to watch it.
Bring Kenny back again 🤣🤣🤣
That's the 50th, but not tonight because that would be some kind of record or something...
En Fuego
That's his 12th Homer, not in this game that'd be a record
Da man,
Fk Sake 🤣🤣🤣!! Kenny is so damn sneaky funny! Perfectly irreverent still.... after all these years!
Man knew what Fubu was 🫡
He's such a talent. I'm saddened that he's seemingly a year away from selling shirts to save his house like Dustin Diamond...or boxing joey lawrence.
He made millions. I hope he invested and saved his money.
What? Dude is doing what he wants and leaning on his buddies for appearances. Dude ain't getting in the ring with a tik tok queen for cash
the hell happened to kenny's teeth?
No insurance

Dan you're so full of yourself and your importance ...you were a sportscaster not a brain surgeon lol
10:27 😏😂
Kenny Mayne is/was Great. Dem dan, he's a sellout.
ESPN IS RUINING SPORTS.
