Jason Garrett seems like the type that’s insightful and interesting to have a convo with off camera. On camera he’s way too robotic and avoids saying anything that might come off controversial Would love to hear his true thoughts on being the Cowboys coach and what it’s like working with Jerry
Deions brand is to big for Jerry Jones brand, no way Jerry is hiring a coach that will voice his opinion in the public. Troy Aikman called the cowboys a circus and Jerry Jones said to media that Aikman needs to know his place. Jerry hires a controllable and cheap head coach, like Jason Witten
JG so insightful and honest. Dan asked all his guests for an upset this weekend but no one has said no upsets. Favorites win and Bills v Ravens are a toss up. Straight shooter. Dan interrupting again. Asks question then interrupts the guests answer when he doesn’t like the way the guest is answering.
I cannot understand the reasoning in picking Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson over Jared Goff for MVP unless your criteria was strictly individual highlight reel moments. The Lions tied for the best record 15-2 in the NFL this season ( a franchise record for wins and seeding). Four Lions players on the team all gained over 1,000 yards from scrimmage (never done before in NFL history). Jared Goff is the first player ever to complete all passes in a game when throwing more than 15 passes. The Lions also had a streak of 5 games this season where they scored more touchdowns than they had incomplete passes (25 Tds - to 20 incomplete throws which is an first in NFL history). The Lions scored 564 points this season. The only other teams to score more points than the 2024 Lions in NFL history were the 2013 Broncos (606), the 2007 Patriots (589) and the 2018 Kansas City Chiefs (565). Know who the NFL MVP winners for those years? The discussions over MVP currently are jokes. If you want to award highlight reel moments call it the Highlight Reel Award and make a trophy of Barry Sanders or Walter Payton to give. No player has contributed more to bigger multiple franchise turnarounds than Jared Goff other than maybe Kurt Warner. How is Goff not the NFL MVP in 2024?
Great interview, as usual.

Jerry/Stephen will hire a head coach that "knows his place" so Jerry can ramble on about NOTHING!🙃
Garrett is money every time he’s on

Does anyone know where to find that QB throwing video they were talking about?
Where’s Shay in Dallas

Layers of CEO can be workable. But what if some of the layers outside your control are very poorly executed?
