Beautiful plane. You touched on it a little, but I wanted to add some of the nuancefor those who might not know. This kit isn't a model of the CL 1, or even a replica of a CL 1. The prototype for this kit is a modified Bowers Flybaby. The modification looks so good and was publicized enough that nowadays it's hard to find a picture of a CL 1 on the internet that isn't based on that Flybaby.
Well you'd still need some holes for the muffler, needle valve, fueling etc. But I'm okay since nitros run much better sideways vs inverted and nothing wrong with seeing that beautiful Saito sticking out IMO.

It would look better if the engine was mounted inverted, that way you wouldn't have to make any ugly cuts in the side of the cowling.
