My favorite guide was "Cube's Secret Weapon : The Rise of I-DLE". It's a little long, but gives a good introduction to the individual members, and explains their rise up to the "Hwaa" Era, and the beginning of the Pandemic. Also, check-out their "Killing Voice" performance from a year ago, as it hits their title tracks and popular B-Sides up to the "Nude" era. A great sample of why I-DLE are amazing, how talented they are with live vocals, and how much fun they have with their own music. Welcome to Neverland =)
A fun thing about I-DLE is looking up who wrote the song if you go through their B sides. Soyeon has written all their title tracks, but they have 3 producer/ songwriters and a 4th member just started writing songs this year. All of them have a different vibe, you feel their personality come through in their songs.
Honestly, I think most of the suggestions on here are great. I'm glad you appreciated their lighter songs as well, and yes, a klaxon is a loud horn. For some reason the word got into general usage just about everywhere except the US. If you want to see a bit of their range, maybe also add "Super Lady" and "Wife" for a couple of extremes that i don't think people have mentioned. Some of their b-sides life "My bag" and "Put it straight (nightmare/ Halloween version)" only have performance videos and don't always have lyrics, but they are definitely worth checking out. It's probably worth saying that they are involved in just about every creative aspect of their music, including mv concepts, clothing, hair and nails, etc. Soyeon especially is involved in all the details - after the last album she said she needs to delegate more.
7:02 that is Minnie harmonizing with Yuqi, Yuqi has that ridiculously deep voice, such as here: 2:10. Also that growl at 4:03 was her. Me being an InSomnia I am not surprised that you like her voice. And if we have any similar music taste (and based on your Dreamcatcher reactions) let me give you a list of my favorite tracks that are not necessarily to most mainstream ones, but the ones I love the most. (Actually looking back at the list, none of them has the views they deserve, but hey, DreamCatcher itself is not mainstream yet I love them the most). Also if you want to watch queencard, you have to watch allergy music video first cause its connected. One more, i really suggest you to listen to their albums cause they pretty much compose their own songs. Soyeon, the rapper and the leader produced almost all their title tracks. Minnie, Yuqi and Miyeon also produced the b-sides songs.
