Talking about ramping up, instead of using Hunt the Prey, there are now two mods for Borrow Time that can be useful: Extermination Protocol for ramp up (since we don’t one shot the bosses), then No Time To Cool Down for further reducing Temporal Blade cooldown by 30%.
@@voraciousboss Aggressive Teleportation in my opinion is better to be paired up with Hunt the Prey 😉 and lower the Borrow Time cooldown to as low as possible. Otherwise it does not seem to be worth it. Of course it is just my opinion.
@@NemuriKaito I mean for bossing, if you don’t have to move around too much, you can replace HTP to Borrowed Time and use the No Time to Cooldown mod to further lower the cooldown of other skills for example, Temporal Blade 😊. Of course in general, Hunt the Pray is very useful but I could get used to using Borrowed Time recently cz my HTP sometimes doesn’t teleport which was very frustrating

I use this combo because of untamed power, if you use ven knife before blade, untamed power takes the benefit of ven knife. You can throw ven knife after the second temporal blade and it will only proc the temporal blade
@@Pagolion They actually both work. But if you throw ven knife 1st, you have to give yourself more distance away from the enemy when you do your blades. Basically, out of untamed powers range. So it is easier to execute double blade, knife because the untamed power proc on the knife is delayed.
I was running a pretty standard trespasser fp build until today when a saw a video for a very strong terminal velocity build. I had a few solid pieces of terminal velocity so I threw together what I could. Even with it being nowhere near optimized, the damage output is far higher than my fairly optimized trespasser build.
The variety of viable builds out there makes it even more imperative that some kind of load out is made available soon. I’m messing with 4 different builds on just my Trickster alone.
Just tried this in the arena. Sick on the elites and the trash. Added bonus is it has all the things I love. I think the only thing that would make it a bit more fun is the hunt the prey "hit and run" for some jump in ninja blink action. Might swap a dead mod for it later just to give it a go.
A god roll weapon for me would be any assault weapon tht rolls with armor piercing, status power, skill life Leech, First Things First, mages rage, and Fortress

I made a time rift version but I didn't use Arm and Anomaly because I felt by the time you proc mages rage and/or fortress you would already be about 3-4 secs in, then by time you Hunt the pray, melee, rift/venators knife, you would lose the buff before the damaging skills? I guess I will have to go test this now, have you? Is the buff truly still active for the main damage phase of the rotation?
good vid I just wanted to add: the actual skill rotation for boss is Mage's rage - HTP - MELEE - 2x temporal blade - knife that 30% anomaly boost from melee is not negligible
@@theFullMeasure you can throw it before if you want but after means it will proc on the last temp blade wich means it will proc on the boosted one (Remember the 50% anomaly boost from the skill tree)

Which I mention during the rotation part of the video, so cool. beginners will struggle to work the melee in since its not usually how people play but it does reward more damage.
Lol this was a build I really wanted to make in base outriders and after seeing the new stuff I thought it could work so glad to see it works. (Devastator main and pyro secondary so trickster is my third and way out before I can build this)
Great vid as always. So I am not running any set, for my trickster, just yet. Using slow trap, hunt the prey, and twisted rounds as skills. With such low cooldowns I simply spam hunt the prey and slow trap. Very fun to run as it becomes, at times, impossible to be hit. Additionally, I can generally wipe out the last asshole fairly quick and interrupt anything he wants to do.
quick question for ya sir. can you go to a specific place to farm gear sets? i hate using division 2 but in that game you can go to certain areas and farm sets. is that possible in outriders or do you just fight until you get the pieces? love your content by the way.
Thanks for the comment, Outriders works differently, you can 'target' types of gear like helmets by doing a specific room in trials but as for generally targeting loot its all RNG unfortunately

Meh, I'm playing an old "bleed + twisted bullets" build since I can't find ANY piece of armor in any reliable way. Yesterday I managed to get in a whole run with randoms ONE helm of the shieldbeast and not even apocalypse from the final Arbiter boss. I keep dropping weapons...and mainly the old ones too, in fact I sill miss Mage's Rage -.- But I think as soon as I manage to get all that I need I'll stick with the shieldbeast one since I LOVE casting builds but if you give me a gun I'll use it and forget about the spells :x At this rate maybe for the next DLC I'll have what I need for the meta, just in time for the next inventory-wipe XD
@@theFullMeasure Confusing it. Its always been like this since launch. "i main trickster" Some melee activation dont require a hit so thats probably where you got confused but trickster for sure always did requir a hit. Pretty funny thing you can do is go to the outriders camp and test it on one of those by standing friendly NPC's. it works on them too for some reason. lol I wish you dint have to hit anything as then i would remember to use it more. haha
iirc cyclone slice has always been somewhat weak both in damage and utility compared to the other skills in a trickters arsenal, plus it locks you in an animation which a lot of ppl don't like. But trickster is the class I have the least experience with don't quote me on that xD
I made a time rift trickster that kills mobs fast at a far distance, also kills the trial boss quick using the adds that sacrifice themselves using hive cut mod for vent knife
I got an Eveningstar to drop and for some reason it ups my AP by around 170k before any mods are even triggered. Is there something going on here I don't know about?

kind of disappointed edge of time is still the only set that do T blade and cyclone (no one use cyclone i kno lol), both new set from this dlc seem to still focus on using twisted round, like trickster dont have enough set is to use twisted round already.
My AP trickster is my favorite character to play with. But Hunt the Prey is being complete and total ass for me. Trying to jump in and out and it just doesn’t do it. Constant invalid target messages.
Yeah, any time an enemy is in cover it can be difficult to get htp to activate. I'm playing terminal velocity with htp, time rift and twisted rounds and if I hit them with time rift first I can usually get htp to activate on them, but not always.
Hunt to prey, aweful skill to use with joystick, I can't get used go it, teleports all over the place, your character faces the wrong direction after teleport, even got stuck in a wall.

@@alemswazzu yup HTP is useful in general 😊 but for bosses, kind of not that useful. I guess it depends on if you want more damage or more utility

I think the best rotation should be Hunt the prey + melee + double blade + venator knife. That should be the right Order

Blade+Knife right now is ridiculous I love it. It’s way more fun that Twisted round builds.

For sure you might be cutting it close, if you miss some crits ramping MR it's gonna drop

Top side route to middle with Spectral spikes is 100x better cause it can rack up to 750% dmg bonus.. schemer is better for mobbing over boss killing

Yeah, any time an enemy is in cover it can be difficult to get htp to activate. I'm playing terminal velocity with htp, time rift and twisted rounds and if I hit them with time rift first I can usually get htp to activate on them, but not always.

My shield beast hits for 20 mil per bullet. Hopefully they add some new expeditions or something tarya is getting old very quick. Also way to easy.
