I think this was the best serve tutorial I've seen so far (and I've seen 'em a lot!). No acting, no silly effects, no speaking at all. Just how it's done.
I have been playing table tennis for 45 years. I learnt more about serving from your video than all my 5 coaches (some played for their national teams including China)! I like the dual camera angles and the absence of words! Good job!
Among all the videos on serves I have watched, this is the best tutorial video with the best demonstrations without using any useless verbal explanations. This is the most clever and clear way to explain and demonstrate how to make those serves. Very well done! Very useful. Please make more of these tutorial videos and thanks a lot.
I am normally right-handed but your serves ar left-handed... Now because of you @MALONG Fanmade Channel, I can serve with the left hand. And it is better than my right hand serves! Thank you soo much!
So brilliant of a way to teach the spins here. In tennis we expain with 100's of words. All we really want to teach is the contact points, angles axis of rotation. You show this brilliantly with your video and no words. I love this.
I think the next video should be about when to use one of these serves. For example when your opponent always stands on his backhand side. You should serve fast to the forehand.

i really appreciate the style of your videos, easy to follow and (try :) to recreate, no music or any other bullshit, just straight to the point. its awesome. so thank you! also, i like your hair! :D
I have a lot of tests and final projects to complete before my semester ends. I am using this video to help me relieve stress. I go to my dorm's game room w/ a ping pong table to relieve stress, and I will use these serves to get better and defeat anyone in my path. I am stronger than I think I am and this video will help me be even better. >:D I feel good. :D
were you using ZJK ALC blade in this video coach? I just bought one ZJK ALC (waiting to arrive in 2-4days) .. kindly share what is your rubber for FH and BH please
@@wolfman_8808 you are not allowed to throw the ball backward. you have to throw it straight up. also, the ball must be visible all the time for the opponent. sorry for bad English
Hi bud ! At the time I played TT these videos didn't really exist and I think it's a really good thing to learn and share some tips. Camera standpoints are good too. Maybe an advanced video that could be a sequel to this one could integrate 2 things : location of 1st and 2nd rebound + height of the point of contact of the ball on the racket ( think about differences between racker-broker serve Vs Bomb serve Vs retro one ). Another idea would be to chose another version of the hook serve with an elbow move that is similar to the other type of serves like side, bomb etc. Another interesting topic can introduce the concept of point of contact Vs spin amount like you showed for the retro serve, for example to produce a fake retro for example or fake sidespin, like it looks like highly spin but with a messy touch. Again, this is a really good job. Wish you all the best and a lot of fun 🤙🏾
Thank you! You have very good ideas and details. Currently our video work has a lot of difficulties, making video quite slow. I feel sorry for everyone.
Ball must be thrown on nearly vertical line, so yes anything else (adding spin, tossing ball towards yourself or throwing it sideways) is forbidden by the rules. But in reality it depends on a referee to judge this since nearly all players do this to some degree. In a local league you have much better chance to get away with this since (at least in our country) referries are booked by the hosting team, so if you are the kind of referre who is punishing players way to much you simply wont get booked for the next match. National or international tournaments are of course different thing and I have seen players get punished for illegal serves many times.
Loved that u showed different angles and contact points for each service made it very easy to look at

It's strange to say but without words I have understood very well because I have focused on the essential parts!
Thanks!

Some serves not legal at 4.00 the receiver cant see the ball making contact with bat as partially blocked by opponents shoulder arm.
Thanks a lot!
Your hook-underspin serve seems illegal because you keep tossing the back toward you. Am I right?
Yes. I just also put a comment on how a lot of his serves are illegal
