Kamloops Cruise It’s such a great feeling to just pull your luggage from the overhead and stroll right past the carousel and having to wait for it to arrive (as you’re on edge). Last couple of times I traveled, i felt so relaxed and organized.
Chachi Shapiro I share the same feelings! Air Canada has destroyed 2 different suitcases, damaged another, lost our luggage twice and now they wonder why people are trying to carry everything but the kitchen sink on board. 😂
Such a sense of freedom and security now.
80% of the time, the gate attendant makes me check my carry-on ("All of our overhead bins are full...")

It really is a joy to see your shows. They are so wonderfully sweet, helpful and creative. Even though our "looks" are quite different, it is always so lovely to see your thoughts. Yours is the only fashion show I watch. The one comment I have, which I have made before (But, I am going to keep posting it - in the hope that you"ll see it some time.), is that you really do yourself a disfavor - both in the elegance of your look and in the joy of having one more dimension to your artistry - by not wearing belts!!! The sight of the button on your jeans and empty belt loops is always, for me, a bit jarring and really takes away from the elegance and beauty of your look. Belts take up virtually no space in a bag - or anywhere else. And, belts can give, as you like to say, a bit of "pop" to the outfit. I would so love to see this change in your look - or, to hear your reasoning against belts. Sending you so very much love and appreciation for your semi-weekly gifts to the youtubisphere.

I use contact lenses cases for cremes and things. They hold way more than you think.
Yes, that's a great tip! I recently bought a container with 12 cases for about $7.00 at my local grocery store's pharmacy area. How fast can one spend that amount on travel-sized items! 😊
Great idea! I have several empty cases. I LOVE saving empty containers from around the house to repurpose to decant skincare, make up, etc. One great bottle to reuse for liquids is the 5-hour energy drink bottle.

Just a sharing of my newest travel accessories...foldable hangers! These are such a useful item, aand a stack folded up takes up less space a pair of shoes! Also, since they're primarily plastic, they're perfect for handwashing! 😊

I took one large bag for a trip that spanned hot (95) and cool (60) temps. I'm crazy about navy right now, and since I was experimenting, decided to stick with navy and white only. I focused on 5 outfits only but brought all of the coordinating t-shirts and sweaters, hats and shoes, dress and sweat pants to ensure my comfort. I used to take 10 outfits for 10 days and never had the right layering or shoes etc....never! This time... 5 outfits 18 days and all of the coordinating pieces...and a washer! Now that I'm more familiar with your techniques and my success with them, I'll broaden my color pallet a bit.

Love the inspiration. I just went to Europe for 21 days and packed a 10x10 capsule with one wash day. It was fantastic. Having things mix and match was the best because there are so many options and you don’t get bored quickly. Plus it saves so much space!
