I've seen a lot of older campi parts in the past, but never one like this. As a kid, we used to go to the junk yard and fish out all the old bike parts and make our own bikes. Many of the parts were from the late sixties and early seventies, so I've seen a lot of really cool older parts over the years. Love seeing the vintage stuff. Thanks for sharing.
I fully restored a 1978 Raleigh Competition GS and you were a lot of help especially with the bottom bracket. I managed to keep most of the bike stock except for the wheels. I bought a new set of old school wheels so I could go riding this summer. Truing the old wheels will be a project for this winter.
I don't think it's possible, but if so can u do a video tutorial on how to oil and lube screws and bolts from the inside of a Exerpeutic TF1000 Walk to Fitness Electric Treadmill? It tends to squeak every two steps when I walk on it. And i used the lube that came with it to oil underneath the treadmill belt and that didn't work either. i don't have any warranty on it this is why i am asking.
RJ The Bike Guy well i dont wanna break it, but my question was if there's another piece i can damage if a try to go throuh with the drill on the bolt hole or there is only the bolt in that hole. thanks.
+Fixed Gear How To's Nothing to report. I have not found decals for it. I don't thy exist. And I have been unsucessful so far in trying to get photos of the decals to get them made. So I am not bothering to get the bike painted until I find them.
+RJ The Bike Guy I'll be on the lookout for the labels you'll need. It's a near certainty that decals will have to be created for such a rare bike. However I, too, would like to see that project move forward.
I have emailed a few sellers that had bikes listed on craigslist in other cities to see if they would photograph the decals. No luck. And often the decals on those bikes were pretty rough anyway. The photos need to be straight on and also include a ruler to show size...

smashing. this will be great help for me with my holdsworth.
Excellent thanks RJ
RJ hi! Can you make a tutorial how to adjust vintage campy rear derailleur?
+degot88 The rear derailleur is adjusted pretty much the same as other derailleurs. I do that in various videos.
Thanks RJ!
Back in the early 1970' s we use to refer to the Valentino components as " Nuvo Cheapo " .
Wow I have the same group set on a bottecchia
..Great,helped me out a lot this video...any chance you could do one for the Valentino Rear Mech now?...That would be great...
+Tim Hammond Not yet.

+wise1 This is the closest video I have: th-cam.com/video/6UTmuoiimSA/w-d-xo.html
the video should be enough to help me. thanks again
hi rj i have a problem with this deraulier i brake the bolt that let the cage move
can i " drilling out"?, it is safe?
thanks.
You might be able to drill it out or remove it some other way. You might wreck the derailleur, but it doesn't work now. So go for it.

Excellent
Good video!
What's the bike (brand/model/year)?
+h0ll0wm9n It's a Torpado. I am guessing later 60's or 70's. Not sure more than that.
Could you tell me what chainset that is please?
Campagnolo. I don't know what model.
Thank you. I didn't realise campagnolo made a Cottered chainset. Now I need to find one!
compatible with 3x8 Speed ?
I doubt it will well for 3 speed.
Give us an update on the Indian Scout! 😉
