Allulose a rare sugar can also raise glp-1 naturally. It is the only sweetener I use. Studies show that it may even reduce the impact of a carb cheat meal.
@lizsteilkie it you over do it you might be in the bathroom a while lol. I mostly use it in my full fat Greek yogurt with berries or homemade Dr Kiltz ice cream. Sometimes after I have a cheat meal I put maybe a teaspoon in a glass of water. It does seem to reduce the water retention from a carb day. Ben Bikman and Thomas Delauer both have a couple videos on allulose worth checking out. They do both get sponsorship money from RX Sugar but I still feel they give great info
How lucky are we y'all?? An actual doctor giving us helpful info, sharing tips and stories and answering our questions, WOW!!!!!! Our own doctors dont even treat us this well! 🙌😁🥩🥩 Question, just found a bottle of Choline& inositol in my cupboard, never opened. Would this be good option?? Or should I purchase Inositol by itself? Thanks and Merry Ho Ho Ho to the Hampton Fam 🎄❣️
Thanks for your warm words and happy holidays to you and your family As it relates to your question Yes, a supplement combining choline with inositol can be a good option, as both nutrients support metabolic health. Choline is vital for liver function, fat metabolism, and brain health, while inositol may help with insulin sensitivity and hormonal balance. However, check the dosage to ensure it’s appropriate, and consult with your healthcare provider to confirm it’s suitable for your specific needs.
@DrTonyHampton wonderful thank you so much also just ordered some of the g y m n e m a Sylvester... Finally found one without rice flour! Excited to see if it helps my darn sugar cravings. 😁🙌
This is one of the best videos on this that I've seen! Thank you for the pointer to Hava - I have been trying to focus on foods that kill my cravings (vs amp them up) and this provides a great guideline. I entered my food from yesterday (after the fact) and scored 55 overall for the day which wasn't bad since I had no input from Hava when I planned and ate my meals.
my doc put me on a compounded GLP-1, and the side effects were awful and I didn't lose a pound after 5 months on it. I was eating less than 800cal /day. Severe GI problems. Going back to a keto/carnivore approach and upping calories.
Thank you so much again. Looks like Santa is definitely coming early this year! Wishing you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and a joyful holiday season. Your support truly means so much-stay blessed! Best regards, Dr. Hampton
A few months ago I started taking 3gm Taurine. Within a week or two I woke up with low blood sugar after giving myself the dose of Humulin 70/30 I thought I would need. The effect continues and I take much less insulin. I also have taken Ozempic for a couple of years due to becoming intolerant of Metformin after 20 years. Lost 1/4 of body weightOnly minor side effects, fortunately but I want to stop and try berberine. Am 81
I have an issue with my friends who plan to be on this drug the rest of their life because essentially they are carb addicted. They just eat less junk food not healthy choices. These drugs scare me for long term use and to hear even some physicians say they’ll use it forever.
Loved your explanation. Three of my coworkers are on Ozempic for weight loss…. I like OMD and I want to try ADF this month. I cleaning up those old cells…
Dr. Hampton I truly respect and appreciate your video there a but coming. I feel with any thing we eat and drink ask a side effect to it one way another. Not all client has side effect I'm one of the client that doesn't have it. I feel paying to get my health in order other than meds that will have me hook and they will keep trying to find something else that will fix that side effect I have to do what's best for me and family. They need me around and I still have a job to for fil what God have place me on earth to do.
Awesome advice! Thank you Doc! I have applied all of the recommendations you give in this video for 2 years now (that I got from Dr Rob Cywes, in the same carnivore/ keto camp as you :) and I got great results.
I’ve lost over 150 lbs so far with whole food keto, fasting, hypnosis, light exercise and heavy weights. It’s been so easy compared to the last time I lost over 100 lbs the hard way! PS also use ACV, inulin, Berberine, allulose
Thank you! I tried not to waste too much time being angry about all of the bad advice we have been given over the decades! I’m thrilled to finally be on the right track and can’t even express how much easier this was than the time I lost over 100 lbs counting calories and exercising like a maniac. Then I tried to become vegan and gained back 68 lbs in 3 months! 😮 I felt like I was in quicksand. I didn’t even put it together for the longest time! I just blamed myself. Weight loss with keto and fasting is just so natural! There’s no way I will ever go back. I’ve got enough dirty keto hacks to keep me sustainable even if I go off course a bit. TH-cam has been an insanely helpful resource! I’m just now finding this doctor and so excited to see what else I can do 😊
Dr. Hampton, this was a great video, and having worked almost two decades in the pharmaceutical industry, I’m grateful you are directing people to not just alternatives, but in my opinion far better routes. I do have one suggestion, in the world of neurology and psychiatry, a big pet peeve is when people, especially physicians, say “All-Timers” versus “Alzheimer’s”. I’m saying that with all due respect, only because it will only enhance your credibility.
Excellent Video!! Thank you Dr. Hampton for sharing informative actionable information. Have been on the fence about starting GLP-1 drugs and your video solidified for me there are better ways to reduce weight and get healthier. Thank you!
Thanks for your input My wife does local plays and was impressed that had a film actor following me 😉 If we’re ever in India, make sure she looks you up
I just believe that starting with natural options, which may not be as effective as a way better start than taking a risk of drugs. Good luck to your son 🍀
Which supplement would you suggest for me? I’m 55 eat low/carb Keto. Meat focused. Still need to lose 100 pounds. Keto 2 yrs still slightly pre diabetic.
Great video Dr Hampton. I have seen patients who have permanent gastric paresis. Also bone and muscle loss. Most all of the people were on high doses. Have never seen a client doing micro dosing. Not sure if that decreases side effects or not. Merry Christmas 🎄 🥩🎄🥩
1. Berberine • Thorne: Known for its high quality and stringent testing. • Pure Encapsulations: Offers hypoallergenic formulas, often recommended by healthcare professionals. 2. Inositol • Jarrow Formulas: Well-established brand with consistent quality control. • NOW Foods: Offers cost-effective options and is widely available. 3. Gymnema Sylvestre • Himalaya: Trusted for Ayurvedic botanicals; uses standardized extracts. • Gaia Herbs: Focuses on purity and transparency with organic and sustainably sourced ingredients. 4. 5-HTP • Natrol: One of the most popular 5-HTP brands, often third-party tested. • NOW Foods: Good quality, value-oriented supplement line. 5. Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) • Bragg: Iconic brand with the “mother” intact; widely recommended. • Dynamic Health: Another option offering raw, unfiltered ACV with the “mother.”
You are talking about SPC, which has potato and oatmeal as foods that leave you more sated. Greek yoghurt and popcorn are also included in the list. You said that a Snickers bar was much better than oatmeal. Please explain?
Out of all the supplements you mentioned, which one would suggest for a 62 year old woman needing to lose 20 lbs. Fasting stopped working. Been doing it for 4 yrs. Thank you!❤️
For a 62-year-old female looking to support weight loss and metabolic health naturally, the best supplement to start with would depend on individual health conditions, but here’s a general recommendation: Start with Berberine. Why: Berberine is a powerful natural compound that mimics some of the effects of GLP-1 drugs. It can help regulate blood sugar levels, improve insulin sensitivity, and support weight loss by enhancing metabolic health. It’s particularly effective for individuals with insulin resistance or prediabetes. • How to use: The typical dose is 500 mg, taken two to three times per day with meals to avoid gastrointestinal discomfort. Optional Second Choice: If you’re experiencing hormone-related weight changes or struggle with sugar cravings, Inositol is another excellent option. It’s particularly helpful for women dealing with post-menopausal symptoms or metabolic syndrome. • Always consult your healthcare provider before starting any supplement, especially if you’re taking medications or have underlying health conditions.
It seems like just last week we were seeing this taken off the market because of all the hay and his side effects, then it was suddenly rebranded and now it's God's gift to weight loss. I wouldn't touch this stuff if you paid me.
I hoped to learn about Berberine. But the Description doesn’t match part of the video: the video misses out this whole section at that time stamp (Edit: just found it at 7:30!):- 3. [2:30 - 4:30] • Natural supplements for GLP-1-like effects: • Berberine: How it enhances glucose metabolism and promotes weight loss. • Inositol: Role in insulin sensitivity and hormone balance. • Brief mention of other options like probiotics and magnesium for appetite regulation.
Thank you for sharing this information Dr.Hampton … it almost sounds like some of these side effects are very close to those of antidepressants & anti anxiety medication … affecting the vagal nerve.. quick question does Akkamansia bacteria act as a natural GLP1 as well? I did hear that this probiotic is best with a bit of fiber to help seal up leaky gut? Thank you again for your information! Love&Light from California 🤍🤍
For the supplements, do you suggest a person take only one or can a combination of 2 or even 3 be safe? I’m currently taking berberine and chromium picolinate. I haven’t lost any weight and it’s been over 4 months. I haven’t gained weight so that’s at least good. I’m definitely staying on the berberine but would like to add one of the other supplements you suggested. I’ve always been overweight and am struggling to lose about 25-30 pounds I need to lose. I’m a sweet lover. 🤷🏻♀️
Nice video. All these recommendations possibly work if you don't already have digestive issues. From the exercise to the diets to the fasting to the supplements have been ineffective for me because everything just sits in my stomach and ferments. Exercising with a full stomach leads to vomiting, it's not fun. The intermittent fasting messed up my metabolism so food moves even slower. And surgery nor the GLP -1 meds are an option due to further exacerbation of current digestive issues. Hope this works for someone.
Thank you for this informative video! I really appreciate its content and will try the supplements. I have Liposomal Berberine 3000 mg & it says to take 2 ml. However, the dropper is not marked , so I’m not sure what to do. The bottle says metabolism and AMP activator and contains 60 ml. I would appreciate your thoughts on this . Thank you & Merry Christmas!!!
Allulose is a low-calorie sugar that doesn’t spike blood sugar or insulin. It may promote fat loss and enhance GLP-1 secretion, aiding appetite control. While beneficial for metabolic health, overuse can cause digestive discomfort, so moderation is key.
Hey doc awesome info! How do you suggest I come off ozempic this is my 2nd month on dosage 0.5? Should I just stop or go bk down to 0.25 then come off?
I was looking for some of these supplements. Berberine HCL is supposed to have the most bioavailibility. Since supplements are not regulated by the FDA, are the brands in the pictures recommended? I also read German Supplements were better.
1. Look for Third-Party Testing • Choose brands that have their products tested by independent labs for purity, potency, and safety. Look for certifications like NSF Certified, USP Verified, or ConsumerLab Approved on the label. 2. Prioritize Transparency • Reputable brands provide detailed ingredient lists and avoid unnecessary fillers, artificial colors, or additives. They also disclose where and how their supplements are manufactured. 3. Check for Active Ingredients and Bioavailability • For Berberine, look for a product with 500 mg per capsule and minimal fillers. Some brands may combine berberine with complementary ingredients like cinnamon or milk thistle to enhance absorption. • For Inositol, brands that offer a combination of Myo-Inositol and D-Chiro Inositol in a 40:1 ratio (similar to the body’s natural ratio) are ideal. 4. Recommended Brands • For Berberine, brands like Thorne Research, Pure Encapsulations, and Integrative Therapeutics are often well-regarded for quality. • For Inositol, products like NOW Foods Inositol Powder or Ovasitol by Theralogix

Eating low fat inhibits the absorbtion of the fat soluble vitamins (especially vitamin D and B12), low fat soluble vitamins leads to high cholesterol, high cholesterol leads to statins. Isn't it easier to just eat animal fat? Animal fats have a lot more nutrious vitamins and minerals than vegetable oils.

Ive been working myself off Monjarvo for a few months now and down to the
2.5 mg Monjarvo and now it's time to completely stop taking this medication and I've worked hard to be confident to do so ! Last week was my last dose and my Sugars are still at normal A1c 5.7 .
With the knowledge from :
Dr Tony Hampton & Dr Ken Berry !
Thanks for helping me to be able to make it to my God given Exp Date , lol hopefully not soon but if so I will be healthy when it's my time ... EVERYONE can do this , I did . In my mid 50's and use to eat whatever I wanted whenever I wanted and didn't know any better !
Those wrong foods Will absolutely lead you to your god given Expiration Date before it's your time !
May this help someone , God Bless !
Thank you so much for your generous donation and kind words! It means a lot to know that Dr. Ken Berry and I have been able to inspire you on your journey. Your support helps keep the mission alive. Stay the course, keep focusing on your health, and know that you’re making incredible progress!

Thanks , Dr.Tony Hampton , I sure do feel my positive results from Ketovore under 50 total carbs per day and working on lowering that number of Carbs , love apples, one apple is
20 carbs . Watching my numbers and listening to my body and lowering Carbs when my body agrees , easy explanation .... Your doing Awsome work ! I'm sure your being watched from above , your another person bought into my life from a prayer asking for true knowledge and not to be healed from Him because I needed to learn and keep using those tools throughout life !

Super information and very important to find alternatives to pharmaceutical drugs!!
Thank You 🙏 for caring!!🙏🙌💯
Allulose a rare sugar can also raise glp-1 naturally. It is the only sweetener I use. Studies show that it may even reduce the impact of a carb cheat meal.
That’s a nice share. Thanks.
@@ericwuerl3976 does it affect your gut?
@lizsteilkie it you over do it you might be in the bathroom a while lol. I mostly use it in my full fat Greek yogurt with berries or homemade Dr Kiltz ice cream. Sometimes after I have a cheat meal I put maybe a teaspoon in a glass of water. It does seem to reduce the water retention from a carb day. Ben Bikman and Thomas Delauer both have a couple videos on allulose worth checking out. They do both get sponsorship money from RX Sugar but I still feel they give great info
@@lizsteilkie possibly, but for me it ended up being great solution.

Question, just found a bottle of Choline& inositol in my cupboard, never opened. Would this be good option?? Or should I purchase Inositol by itself?
Thanks and Merry Ho Ho Ho to the Hampton Fam 🎄❣️
Thanks for your warm words and happy holidays to you and your family
As it relates to your question
Yes, a supplement combining choline with inositol can be a good option, as both nutrients support metabolic health.

Thank you Dr. Tony, great information!
Alpha Lipoic Acid s great too..I started using it a few weeks ago..
Love you videos. Quick and always informative. Thanks
Am 81
Thanks Dr. Hampton, for all of your help. I will share this video with my family members.❤😊

You just came into my feed and I’m so glad. I took Mounjaro Friday and I’m sick. Never again!
Most excellent, thorough information! I’m sharing with several friends and family. Thank you Dr. Hampton. 🎄
Wonderful!
😳 Eye opener!
I have an issue with my friends who plan to be on this drug the rest of their life because essentially they are carb addicted. They just eat less junk food not healthy choices. These drugs scare me for long term use and to hear even some physicians say they’ll use it forever.
Key words: “for the rest of their life”
🤦🏾
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you so much for this! I appreciate you and I’m excited to try the natural way out!
Loved your explanation. Three of my coworkers are on Ozempic for weight loss…. I like OMD and I want to try ADF this month. I cleaning up those old cells…
Best of luck!
Thank you for being honest, Bless you.

I’ve lost over 150 lbs so far with whole food keto, fasting, hypnosis, light exercise and heavy weights. It’s been so easy compared to the last time I lost over 100 lbs the hard way!
PS also use ACV, inulin, Berberine, allulose
@@AnitaSolution congrats🎉🎉🎉🎉 that is a huge accomplishment!!
I’m just now finding this doctor and so excited to see what else I can do 😊
Great video,
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you!

Great video Dr Hampton. I have seen patients who have permanent gastric paresis. Also bone and muscle loss. Most all of the people were on high doses. Have never seen a client doing micro dosing. Not sure if that decreases side effects or not.

Microdossing absolutely reduces side effects. I think it is hard to find a doc that will actually do it though.

Absolutely right

Can you recommend brands for these supplements?
1. Berberine
• Thorne: Known for its high quality and stringent testing.
• Pure Encapsulations: Offers hypoallergenic formulas, often recommended by healthcare professionals.
2. Inositol
• Jarrow Formulas: Well-established brand with consistent quality control.
• NOW Foods: Offers cost-effective options and is widely available.
3. Gymnema Sylvestre
• Himalaya: Trusted for Ayurvedic botanicals; uses standardized extracts.
• Gaia Herbs: Focuses on purity and transparency with organic and sustainably sourced ingredients.
4. 5-HTP
• Natrol: One of the most popular 5-HTP brands, often third-party tested.
• NOW Foods: Good quality, value-oriented supplement line.
5. Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)
• Bragg: Iconic brand with the “mother” intact; widely recommended.
• Dynamic Health: Another option offering raw, unfiltered ACV with the “mother.”
@@DrTonyHamptonthank you for this! Appreciate your transparency and Sharing!
You are talking about SPC, which has potato and oatmeal as foods that leave you more sated. Greek yoghurt and popcorn are also included in the list. You said that a Snickers bar was much better than oatmeal. Please explain?
Yes people should stop wasting money and stop adding profits to the pharmaceutical and health insurance industries .
💯
Out of all the supplements you mentioned, which one would suggest for a 62 year old woman needing to lose 20 lbs. Fasting stopped working. Been doing it for 4 yrs. Thank you!❤️
For a 62-year-old female looking to support weight loss and metabolic health naturally, the best supplement to start with would depend on individual health conditions, but here’s a general recommendation:
Start with Berberine.
Optional Second Choice:
If you’re experiencing hormone-related weight changes or struggle with sugar cravings, Inositol is another excellent option. It’s particularly helpful for women dealing with post-menopausal symptoms or metabolic syndrome.
• Always consult your healthcare provider before starting any supplement, especially if you’re taking medications or have underlying health conditions.
Can you please discuss the downsides of the carnivore diet?
And can you also explain why the ketogenic diet should not be done long term?
What is your opinion about study that olive oil supres GLP-1?
It seems like just last week we were seeing this taken off the market because of all the hay and his side effects, then it was suddenly rebranded and now it's God's gift to weight loss. I wouldn't touch this stuff if you paid me.
Can you take inositol and berberine together? If yes, how?
I have heard that Allulose increases natural GLP-1 production. any thoughts?
I hoped to learn about Berberine. But the Description doesn’t match part of the video: the video misses out this whole section at that time stamp (Edit: just found it at 7:30!):-
3. [2:30 - 4:30]
• Natural supplements for GLP-1-like effects:
• Berberine: How it enhances glucose metabolism and promotes weight loss.
Merry Christmas 🎄
Happy holidays Veronica!!
Thank you for this. I do keto but need to add some supplements. I also fast.
Happy it was helpful
For the supplements, do you suggest a person take only one or can a combination of 2 or even 3 be safe? I’m currently taking berberine and chromium picolinate. I haven’t lost any weight and it’s been over 4 months. I haven’t gained weight so that’s at least good. I’m definitely staying on the berberine but would like to add one of the other supplements you suggested. I’ve always been overweight and am struggling to lose about 25-30 pounds I need to lose. I’m a sweet lover. 🤷🏻♀️
I do believe that adding a couple of the additional supplements would be a starting point for you
@@DrTonyHampton thank you! Just ordered Gymnema Sylvestre.
Agree
Dr. Hampton, please look into Dr. Tyna Moore.
Okay
Thank you for this informative video! I really appreciate its content and will try the supplements. I have Liposomal Berberine 3000 mg & it says to take 2 ml. However, the dropper is not marked , so I’m not sure what to do. The bottle says metabolism and AMP activator and contains 60 ml. I would appreciate your thoughts on this . Thank you & Merry Christmas!!!
Glad it was helpful! And Merry Christmas to you
I thought allulose did something regarding Glp-1?
Allulose is a low-calorie sugar that doesn’t spike blood sugar or insulin. It may promote fat loss and enhance GLP-1 secretion, aiding appetite control. While beneficial for metabolic health, overuse can cause digestive discomfort, so moderation is key.
have you heard of dihydroberbnerine?
Hey doc awesome info! How do you suggest I come off ozempic this is my 2nd month on dosage 0.5? Should I just stop or go bk down to 0.25 then come off?
Reduce 1st than come off while on keto or carnivore
What do you think about Glp1s for T2 diabetics?
@@lyndeeluu probably better to go keto, more natural, less side effects, healing overall

Nooooooooo 😮
Keto messes with my gallbladder (shows up in stool). I work in a gym, OMAD is out. Natural body builders know what’s up
On Ozempic for months! Only 5 pounds lost. Does this make any sense????? I’m not taking this anymore. I’m pre diabetic and angry
I was looking for some of these supplements. Berberine HCL is supposed to have the most bioavailibility. Since supplements are not regulated by the FDA, are the brands in the pictures recommended? I also read German Supplements were better.
1. Look for Third-Party Testing
• Choose brands that have their products tested by independent labs for purity, potency, and safety. Look for certifications like NSF Certified, USP Verified, or ConsumerLab Approved on the label.
2. Prioritize Transparency
• Reputable brands provide detailed ingredient lists and avoid unnecessary fillers, artificial colors, or additives. They also disclose where and how their supplements are manufactured.
3. Check for Active Ingredients and Bioavailability
• For Berberine, look for a product with 500 mg per capsule and minimal fillers.
4. Recommended Brands
• For Berberine, brands like Thorne Research, Pure Encapsulations, and Integrative Therapeutics are often well-regarded for quality.
• For Inositol, products like NOW Foods Inositol Powder or Ovasitol by Theralogix

@@DrTonyHampton How do you feel about Glp-1s for Type 2 diabetics !!!
are you talking about berberine?
What do you recommend for people who have no self control and prefer meds or supplement
@@monicemonice1432 I'll just bet your problem is not lack of "self-control". I'm wondering if you, like me, have no self-control when eating addictive foods? I'm wondering if you, like me, have rarely repeatedly binged on steak and broccoli? I used to be sooooo bad, a bottomless pit, so I'm not judging you. God bless ❤️🙏❤️
I learned about people who " cannot moderate" as a major reason some do strict carnivore as it removes sugar cravings. Makes good sense.
Agreed
Do the risks and side effects of those drugs you mentioned also apply to the diabetic versions like viktosa?
Beasr alternative is go Keto or Carnivore....simple😂 Merry Christmas
