Oh cool! What member were you? I was actually talking with Chris just a bit more than a week ago, super cool guy. He sent me all of your guys' music, which I was thinking of posting your old band's stuff whenever he finds the album art. I definitely heard some pretty cool and unique stuff that definitely sounded different than what you guys made in the earlier days. Definitely post that unfinished album man! I currently have 'ABC's and 123's', the self-titled album, 'Seperation Anxiety' (not sure if "separation" was misspelt that way intentionally or not), 'Dying Hearts Won't Listen', 'A Plague Will Cleanse All', and I got a few tracks he didn't have in the Google Drive folder he sent me ('Mourning Star', the demo for 'Puppet', the demo and live soundboard audio of 'Old Friends', and an audio recording of you guys covering 'Stinkfist' by TOOL).

@Cliffjumper38 haha Chris hooked you up then! I was the singer in the band. Yeah, so "A plague" was supposed to be a full-length album but ended up being only 4 songs - 3 of which I did vocals on. At the time, we were all listening to a lot of Inflames and early Killswitch Engage. Lol. I have a bunch of live footage I could upload if you want to see some. Jeff

@@SomeSayAll Oh no way, awesome! I love your vocals a lot man! Your singing reminds me of bands like LeFT, Pantera, TOOL, Staind, and Lamb of God, so different groove metal and nu metal/alt-metal bands. I genuinely wish I could sing like you man lol. It would've been cool if that album was finished since one of the songs I heard, 'Transformer' (is that title possibly a reference to the Transformers franchise?), sounded really cool since it was like a mix of groove metal and 80's rock kind of, to me at least. Killswitch and In Flames are some awesome bands, they got really great songs. I remember seeing In Flames last year with Meshuggah and Whitechapel, very great performances. I seriously need to listen to albums by those bands, and I absolutely need to listen to the rest of your guys' music now that I have all of your guys' discography lol. Definitely upload all of that live footage man! I only have one live video, which it was a video of you guys covering 'This Love' and 'Cemetary Gates' by Pantera that was posted on Chris's Facebook awhile ago. I would love to see some footage of 'Old Friends' and 'Once Alone', Once Alone reminds me a tooon of Staind's very first album titled 'Tormented'. You guys mixed groove metal with nu metal really well! I already listened to Old Friends more than 100 times within the first 3 days I found you out, which the way I found you guys out is kind of interesting since I was just looking through an old archive on the Internet Archive that had a massive amount of old bands, which I saw your guys' name and description and thought you guys must've been pretty cool, checked out all of the 8 songs by you guys that were in the archive, and thought you guys were and are awesome! Quick Question: Was there ever a full-version of 'Mourning Star'? It's a really cool sounding demo in my opinion and the only audio file of it I have is about 1 minute. It reminds me a lot of LeFT (check out their song 'My Disease') and 'Can't Believe' by Staind. Edit 7/30/24: I just realized 'Transformer' was from Dying Hearts Won't Listen and not A Plague Will Cleanse All, but either way, it's definitely quite different compared to what came before.

Ah yeah, some other questions I have are: -Do you have any lyrics? -Would you ever consider doing a Wireneck reunion show? -Would you ever consider putting up any of your guys’ music on streaming someday?

​​​​@@Cliffjumper38 Thanks! Yeah I was really into Tool and Pantera (still love them) when we wrote all that stuff. My vocals are a lot better now than they were then though- I really began working on range and pitch control after the band broke. After that ended I joined a couple of different groups playing classic rock stuff and grunge. I currently still write music (various types of metal and grunge-ish songs) but haven't played out any shows in about 4 years. I doubt it's possible to get all of Wireneck back together again for a show since I think Chris and myself are the only ones that play instruments any more! I still have all the lyrics to our songs in a folder (I kept a lot of stuff I wrote). What lyrics are you wanting to see? If I'm not mistaken there was a couple of demos of morning star from when I was writing the vocals-- which I believe is what you posted (i dont think it ever got finished). When I would write I would go in and make junk vocal runs while recording to just get a possible line made up (which I still do) then I would go back and write the lyrics about something I was feeling, or had on my mind, to that melody. The vocal line in the chorus from the song Transformer was originally from a non-wireneck demo I did singing over a chord progression i wrote on guitar (not the music that ended up on the track). I don't think any of the verses got used but the vocal from the chorus is for sure stripped from my demo. However, I think the original lyrics were about how I felt some people I knew wanted to keep me in their close orbit but when I was with them I never felt present, more like an observer on the outside than a part of the group. At the time I just thought my life would be so much better if they could just disassemble me and make me fit in how they wanted. Lol. Teenage drama.

I absolutely agree with you man, one of my all time favorite bands! I'm great friends with the guitarist and I've even spoken with the drummer before. The guitarist Jay sent me some unreleased stuff awhile ago and he even sent me the complete discography of his band 'Method One', which was the band he was in before joining Boredline and nothing from it has been posted online. So I will make sure to post all of that stuff.

@@Cliffjumper38 Holy shit dude I am so sorry for the late response I never got the notification you replied! Wow man that’s insanely cool I haven’t even thought of these guys having other bands! Jay is a killer guitar player I loved figuring out “Portamento” & I’m still working on “Fine” I feel like a rockstar playing those haha! Also I’ve been bumping that Jor demo didn’t even know that it was on your channel too lol you got an amazing channel bro.

Portamento is fun to play, as well as Contrast and Livid. I can play most of Fine, but there’s still a little bit I’m trying to figure out. Also yeah that Jor demo is awesome! I always thought Aaron and the singer for Jor had similar vocals, which is pretty cool.

Like I can just imagine their faces being bright red from how much effort they put into their vocals lmao! Also kinda off topic but do you know who’s on the cover of Boredline’s Fight Music? I’m a big MMA guy & it’s been killing me & my dad for about 2 years who those guys fighting are. Hope the best for you you’re a really cool person don’t forget that!
