Fully agree 😊. I am using this combo for weddings for a few years already and it is just awesome.
Moreover the 105/1.4 really shines on my GFX 100S II as well.

My new kit includes 2 R6 Mkii bodies,RF 28-70f2,RF 85 f1.2, RF 70-200 f2.8 and Rf 100 f2.8 for macro shots like rings and all
you know that side button on the lens
I use it for crop mode for when i want that extra reach
it made sense to me since its on the side of the lens right next to the zoom ring so yeh
I wish it could be set to crop mode only while holding the button and then go back to full frame on release
This lens was born for wedding photographers
for some reason I kept hearing f2, in the Mr. Krabs voice.

ditch the 35-150 and use this with a 20/105 combo depending on indoors/outdoors.
I still prefer f1.4 or f1.8 primes
Especially EF mount glasses, so that i can use drop-in-filter adapters
Single adapter with different drop-in-filters is way more cost-effective than my fear of using adapters😅

What plugin are you using to add natural motion blur?
I use Reel Smart Motion blur but I’m sure there are others as well

The Canon is on sale for $2799 so in 6 years expect the same from Sony with a sales price of $2599 - $2699

That’s interesting. I didn’t extensively test macro-ish shots but I didn’t see any issues in real life. Maybe if I was shooting charts or something I’d notice it’s not as sharp in the corners or something
