Excellent directions. I have a note or two. 1) Do not expect any of the "Phillips head" screws to match any Phillips head screwdriver in your tool box. 2) The Allen head screws holding the leg doublers and the top are very tight. I soaped them before installing to make them easier to go through the wood. 3) Be careful with the middle shelf. Mine broke out taking one of the pre-attached fasteners with it. I don't know how that happened, but it happened when I turned it over to put the back on. All I can think was I missed when I screwed them onto the fasteners. 4) I assembled mine on saw horses. Save your back and knees and assemble on a table or horses.
Does the book shelf really need to be screwed to the wall on top, is the book case not balanced enough to stand straight properly by itself and there are chances for it to topple over? The reason I am asking is I am interested in buying this book case and this is the only book case in my list that needs to be screwed to the wall on top and I am a bit reluctant to make holes in my wall. Based on your usage, kindly please advise. TIA.
The instructional video is meant to show the entire process. This includes the installation of anchors, which are meant for extra security, especially if you have children. But, the shelf will be correctly balanced without it.
I really wish they put letters on the pieces, like they used to, I assembled this bookcase almost fully only to realize that the f***ing top needed a different orientation of one of the pieces, I corrected this only to realize that the back doesn't fit. So I had to unscrew it all and reassemble it so that top screws in, only to realize that the bottom brackets don't align anymore... I'm about to tell my wife no more f**ing ikea
The sheld pins at 13:25 are just pushed inside with just the finger? Why are they not screwed in order to be steady and not loose? Is this a problem with shelf stability and weight endurance?
I need help! I don’t know how to screw the middle shelf in. The pre-attached fasteners are not fastening onto the screws that I put into the panels. I’ve been trying to make it fasten for the past two hours with absolutely no luck. Any suggestions?
You are excellent at explaining and showing how to build this shelf. Thank you!!!😊
this video made it much easier to assemble. thank you!
Brilliant video! Thank you for your service!
The fact that you did this in less than 15 minutes is nothing short of amazing. I salute you, sir.
Is it necessary to drill the wall?

Çok teşekkürler ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Great tutorial, double check that your bookshelf is the same make as his. Some makes have a differently supported middle shelf
Very helpful and clear instruction. Thanks!

Thank you very much, very nice!
Very helpful, what that music in the background? I love it
Thanks and the song is Hedged Bet by Far Orange
Excellent video reference. Audio (spoken voice) was too fast and mumbling, with volume trailing off at the end of each sentence. But still helpful.
Is there any way to add drawers or doors to this bookcase
Considering buying this bookcase. Wish to know if it is sturdy to take full load based on your experience. Thanks.
There was some slight wobble but if you secure it to the wall, then you won't have any problems.
@@originalfurniturereviews2964 Thanks
would this be easy to dismantle as well?
Just did it, took me less than 15 min, much easier to do than assembling it
After you disassemble the backboard, do the rectangular metal braces work again when reassembling? They are bent after screwing you know.
Forget about one part . The small list on the sides in the...
I'd like to also add not to miss the....
Great job!
