Yes, me too! (Oily) I just used a primer and a good setting powder and spray and I was good to go. It has the tiniest fragrance. Pretty negligible, I think.
I’ve got this and it’s BEAUTIFUL! The shade is perfect with no oxidisation, the coverage is a perfect medium in my opinion, I don’t get oily, it doesn’t exasperate my dry patches, it lasts. I am so incredibly happy with it and I’m not surprised it’s taken the internet by storm ❤❤❤
I was late for the party to try this foundation. I am 68, and I love it. A Walmart employee told me I was pretty. I will wear this foundation forever. 😂 It is better than a high-end foundation.
I have oily combo skin and I LOVE this foundation ! The Dior Backstage Face & Body has been my favorite for a while but I’ve legit been choosing this foundation the Dior 🤯👀 I definitely have to set my t-zone and use the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray to help it from rubbing off if I give someone a hug lol but it holds up really well! The Dior makes the drier parts of my face look a little emphasized by the end of the day and the ELF foundation just stays skin-like in every part Of my face all day long!! Truly a must have 🙌🏽🥳😍

I couldn't help myself and bought this when it was released! LOL I'm a cool-leaning neutral and I do find the neutral shade I have to be a bit yellow, but it's workable. I will buy fair cool when I need to repurchase (and I will be repurchasing!). This is my go-to, everyday foundation now and I'm thrilled. I really liked how the Elf foundation in the glass bottle looked on my skin, but the fragrance gave me a headache everytime I used it. edit: I have normal-oily skin and with primer, powder, and setting spray, this is great!

It's so funny that you posted this today. I bought this yesterday and tried it today. I LOVE it so far. You and I are usually a shade match and my store didnt have our shade. I got the light cool and could make it work but will likely buy the lighter cool shade also. I did use the one size setting spray since I spent several hours in the 90+ heat today. I also took a nap and am currently 9+ hours into this and would still wear it out as is. It is very likely a new favorite. I love the natural stain finish. You were spot on by saying it you skin but better. The $8 price point is also incredible because it feels and wears like a high end product. Also, for reference, I have very dry fair skin.

I love it! I've ordered 3 colors and will wear all 3 at some point this year. Right now, I'm pretty tan, so I needed to buy a 3rd color for my tan skin. It's okay because it's only $8. Even spending $24 on 3 different colors that I will use, it's still half the price of my favorite foundation, Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless.

I've tried it and I'm a combination oily and normal. It looks really good on me but I have to touch up quite a bit from the oil coming thru. I do use a mattifying primer with it and helps a little. Lasts pretty good with a finishing spray.
I have mature skin and oily your skin and I really like this product. It wears all day. It looks like your skin only better. I would recommend this and you can’t beat the $8 price point.

She's my foundation shade match, too, @LexiGoLightly. There are two Fair Cool and Fair Neutral shades, so I'm not sure which one she used. I picked up 13 Fair Neutral a few weeks ago but haven't tried it yet. For $8 I would buy a second and maybe even mix for a perfect shade match.

Normal skin here, tried it and loved it! But Loreal Freshwear is my go to! I have the shade light neutral in the Elf foundation and it's a bit yellow for me, thinking I will get a fair shade as well for mixing in..kinda limited shade choices.. but great!

I had the same experience with this where at first glance I thought oh no, it's too light, but once applied the color was perfect (12 Fair Warm on me). I have to be careful not to use too much since I'm dry--a little goes a long way with this unless you're a "high coverage" fan. And I appreciate the "no feel" aspect of this; you don't feel it on the skin, which is really important for folks like me with rosacea who get that "smothery" feel really easily.
I absolutely love this foundation along w the maybelline skin tint which i purchased bc of u and ive been wearing it nonstop i cant believe the coverage of this skin tint❤
I haven't tried it, but I've seen a couple of wear tests on oily skinned influencers, and it didn't hold up great. I work 12-hour shifts, so my makeup has to last about 15 hours. Also, since I'm oily/combo, and I prefer a more full coverage foundation, I chose to pass. Thank you so much for your review and wear test. I was happy to see one from a drier skinned influencer whom I trust so highly. 🥰

Question: I've tried Nars light reflecting foundation and it always seems to look patchy and separated on the skin after drying down. Do you know how I can fix this?
I just ordered this foundation so now I cannot wait to get it. What numbers did the two colors have because I noticed when I ordered that it has an 11 fair neutral and a 13 fair neutral. I ordered the 13 because I am a tad darker than fair but not quite light.
It’s ok. I have dry skin. Even with moisturizer and primer by the end of the day I looked like I over powdered my skin. Maybe I. See to shake it up really well.🤷🏼♀️

I’m from Sweden and unfortunately you can’t buy Elf here. But my son lives in Toronto, Canada, so when I visited him there in June, I thought this was my chance to buy that foundation. But I couldn’t find it anywhere! 😭 So I still haven’t tried it. 😢

@luvinmaks minimal! If you've ever caught a wiff the the putty primer I'd say it's an even lighter version of that
No fragrance! I always check ingredients because fragrances can break me out. If there is any scent it's the ingredients

I can only find it through the e.l.f. website here. They're out of 10 Fair Cool though. I might see if another shade will work for me.

I’m from Sweden and unfortunately you can’t buy Elf here. But my son lives in Toronto, Canada, so when I visited him there in June, I thought this was my chance to buy that foundation. But I couldn’t find it anywhere! 😭
So I still haven’t tried it. 😢
So you might have to order it from ELF and have it shipped to your son's place in Canada...
@@hgchild5398 yes, I am thinking of doing just that, since they are coming to Sweden for Christmas and can bring it along. Means I have to wait for it, obviously, but to by from the US and ship directly to Sweden with the import tax and import VAT is crazy expensive! 😅
I'm an oily skin girly, and I still love this foundation. It doesn't last all day for me, but honestly, hardly anything ever does. I'm just kind of used to it.
What number is fair neutral?
Can you give the number you used? The Elf website lists two options for fair neutral and fair cool.
No 10 and 14 are both Fair Cool please add which one you used ?
I was able to pause it in just the right spot to see that it was #14
