To complete the Arizona trilogy of DBK, we explore the trails of Sedona and highlight our favorites of sunset at the Cathedral Rock vortex, West Fork Trail and the Broken Arrow Trail with Pink Jeep Tours.
Sedona is a sacred, powerful and spiritual location to many dating to the Native people that traveled to this location for ceremonies. Cathedral Rock is said to be one of Sedona's vortexes, or swirling centers of energy conducive to healing, meditation and self exploration. Cathedral Rock offers beautiful sunset views.
West Fork is among the most popular hikes of the Coconino National Forest. With numerous stream crossings, it offers a rare chance to cool off on a warm Sedona day.
The Pink Jeep Tour has offered Jeep rides since the 1960s with the Broken Arrow Trail being their most popular. The Jeeps are pink after the owners being inspired after a Hawaii trip in the 1960s. After being purchased in 2018, the tours have opened in other locations across the country.
